Oh boy, just caught up on weekend thread! I'm hoping to just go food shopping today, I have a dentist appointment tomorrow which requires medication, girl dog has her comprehensive exam on Wednesday. So my week is hectic here!

I dropped O off at daycare this morning. I thought I was going to be able to make it through it but as soon as I shut his classroom door I started sobbing. I even had to talk to the front desk lady while crying. I just hope he's happy and is able to nap there
waitwhat she hardly ever spits up but when she does, she makes it count. tgrimes1980 praying that you can stay disease-free! cookswithwine9, LT for hugs. It's always harder for us than it is for them. That doesn't make it any more fun to leave them 😢
Oh man, rough days all around. Spit up, throw up, sobbing, weather delays, poor sleep... I'm thinking about all my N16 girls!
My night was still interrupted by 3 feedings, but at least 1 time (maybe 2, but I was delirious) E woke up fussing but put herself back to sleep! I really hope this is the point of a turn around. I would just like to get one sleep stretch that is 5-6 hours, like, for me personally. I would be very happy to sustain on that.
Today, I was have a Pilates class going on. I should probably schedule an electrician to come to the house, but don't feel like adulting. So I'm going to keep hiding from that task.
Morning! We're up and at 'em. DH finally got in late last night but has to leave in a couple hours for a work conference. He'll be gone thru Thursday and DS seems kinda down that he has to leave again
C was asleep by 9, woke up at 7 to nurse this morning, then passed back out til about 9:30. I kept thinking she was going to wake up and be starving so I didn't shower or anything--now I feel like I wasted a ton of time!
tgrimes1980 I hope M feels better and you don't all catch it.
dashook I routinely am covered in spitup. I swear it's slowing down, but some days she just has tons.
Awww cookswithwine9 I'm sorry. I haven't been there yet, but I'm sure I'll sob when I have to drop the girls off for the first time. I know from my teacher days it really is harder on us.
My day has been alright so far. I think we might be coming out of this last regression. Last night I actually got her back into the pnp after her first wake up. That hadn't happened in a while.
My mom has off today so she's coming over soon. I'm guessing we'll go shopping, have lunch, and maybe take Lillian to the park.
This is what my morning has looked like so far:
*This lasted another like 2 minutes before Lilah started to cry and Lillian decided to whine.

I already called the daycare. I lasted 3 hours I think that's good. He ate his whole bottle but has only napped for 30 mins. Normally he sleeps for 2.5 in the mornings.

Aww hugs it's a tough day. They are pretty fantastic at getting babies to sleep but it's got to be an adjustment for both of you.
S woke up with pink eye this morning. Whaaa. I had it 10 days ago but thought I was in the clear. I am just hoping she doesn't pass it to her baby brother.

That's a beautiful site ClassyMrsA!! Even if it only last a short while longer. Do you find Lillian pushing on the baby gate (fence?) at all? We already have her play area fenced off to keep the dogs away, but I wasn't sure if there was a point in the toddler years in which she would try to hulk through it. I'm sure temperament has a lot to do with that though...
What a fantastic night for C LizInFL!!! My mind is blown trying to imagine a ten hour stretch. I hope Thursday and your H's homecoming comes quickly for B.
Enjoy Pilates hangry! And amen to the wanting a 5-6 hour stretch. I feel like that's not too much to ask for at this point.
I have another one who likes to make it count when she spits up dashook. Full on exorcist. It's always shocking when it happens and usually entails me just staring at her for twenty seconds in shock.
ANOTHER weather delay danib?! W.T.F.?!! Mother Nature needs to calm herself.
All the love cookswithwine9. You're a wonderful Momma. I hope you're day is going better and pick up time comes quickly.
Thanks for the reminder cheshie6! Need to get the pack in for their yearly exams.
tgrimes1980 I want to come pick you up and go on a mini vacation. Because after all this sickness you NEED one. Will it ever end?!! My goodness.

There's a bird in my chimney. If I open the flue it will be in my house. If I don't open my flue it might die and will fall into the fireplace next time we go to light it.
It better learn how to fly back up and out quickly.
Did I ever mention my irrational and all consuming fear of birds? My heart is in in my throat right now.
That's so shitty waitwhat. If she wants nothing to do with planning she should just be upfront like an adult and say so.
I know. And the icing on the cake? I found out this morning she went and got a huge tattoo Saturday. Homegirl needs to let me know where this money tree is because I could use a few bucks. Makes me laugh since she said money is a huge issue for her right now.
Rage.
Worst part is that I could bet that when it's time for her to get married I bet her sister will bend over backwards to help her out.

Wow I put my phone down for what seemed like only a few minutes and this thread is hopping already!
So I still have my FX but we might officially be through this regression. He's back to STTN again which has been awesome. I know I'm lucky and feel bad for my complaining recently.
No big plans for today. We were supposed to have a playdate with some friends but that got cancelled again. Maybe we'll try again next week. It's actually in the 50s right now so I might take C and the dog for a walk if the rain holds off. This weather is crazy.
sophiegrace if I knew any magical baby sleep tricks I'd share them with the class. I'm sure I will regret saying this 'out loud' but other than one night last week when she woke up at 4, I can't even remember the last time C woke up MOTN. It's truly the dumb luck lottery, though. I'm really scared that at some point her sleep's going to go to crap and I'll be irrationally angry bc we've gotten so spoiled.
tgrimes1980 IIRC, you should have improvement of symptoms within a day or two and gone within a week. Has it improved at all? I can't remember if there is a risk of thrush.
tgrimes1980 If diclucan is what I recall taking when I had a YI during pregnancy, it improved in a day and felt completely gone in two days. I wasn't having sex so I can't offer input there. But want to say I reaaaaally hope M throwing up was a fluke and that she's not sick. You deserve a freaking break. Wine it up tonight girl.
LizInFL I am so envious but would so mch rather someone be getting a normal nights sleep, you don't need to suffer for my sake!!! I hope C stays your unicorn!
goldenlove3 Fingers crossed C is out of his regression! Also Adeline has started doing the "ewwww" thing that C does! It's so cute!!
cookswithwine9 Would not have judged if you called out if work and sat in the daycare parking lot this first day, it's a big step ! You've already had success and it will only get easier from here.
sophiegrace Ok I wasn't terrified of birds until I pictured one flying into my house... That would creep me the F out and I'd be locking myself and the babies in the bedroom lol. DNW dead bird in my fireplace.
dashook Adeline spits up a crazy amount too, not just frequency but quantity. In fact I was rushing to get out the door for work this morning but stopped to feed her quickly so it'd be one less thing for H to do (he goes in 1.5 hrs later than me on my office days, and stays 1.5hrs later)... Ad she spit up ALL OVER ME. I won't miss the spit up part of infancy.
waitwhat She sounds horrible... I feel bad for the bride, I mean you too for having to corral her, but can't imagine being the bride and my own sister is being so flakey as it comes to my one big day.
After those 4 wakings in 2 hours, she woke again screaming at 9:30(ish). I picked her up from the RnP and placed her in the center of the bed while I grabbed a diaper and bottle (we have a station set up in the bedroom so I don't need to traverse stairs in my MOTN fog).. It took me no more than 5 seconds to grab (mere feet from the bed) and I sit on the bed and in the dark I could barely see but quickly realized holy shit she's out cold !! So I didn't dare touch her and she stayed like that from until midnight! Ok that's a start, I'll take that 2.5 hrs.
Then I fed her and out she went again 12:20-2:40am. Another two hours. Ok guise, I will take it. I honestly didn't even care if she slept anymore after that - I will take my four hours and run!!
S woke up with pink eye this morning. Whaaa. I had it 10 days ago but thought I was in the clear. I am just hoping she doesn't pass it to her baby brother.
Annnnd C now has a gunky eye. He gets to wait until his well appointment tomorrow to get his own special tube of ointment for me to get in his eyes. This will be fun.
dashook, can I get the name of the place, audiologist who tested your LO's ears ?
We saw someone at Boston Childrens Hospital in Peabody (but they have a million locations). I can't remember her name but after I put D down for her nap I will try to find the records and I'm sure it's on there.

Hearing about the easy sleepers on the board is what keeps me from throwing angry eyes at H when he starts talking about TTCA. Maybe just maybe we'll get luckier the next time around in the sleep department.

tgrimes1980 if you took it Friday your symptoms should be improving by now. Did they have double the dose the first day with a normal dose for the subsequent days? Unless it becomes systemic you don't have to worry about H getting thrush. I don't mean to be TMI, but just watch when you throw your underwear and nursing bras into the hamper that they aren't in direct contact with each other.

Yay AV kleigh!!! Seriously, how sad it is that we're still celebrating 2 hour stretches. Haha. Sleep is such a beautiful thing sweet babies, why do you hate it so?
ETA: how did AB do last night? Did he get the memo too?

Thank-you so much! I'm just getting so frustrated, we're almost at 4 months and my pediatrician is like those are all the audiologists who take kids in our area! 4 referrals later and only the one place that takes babies under 6 months is the one with a broken machine and 2 appointments every other week still hasn't gotten back to me about rescheduling. I just want a person and place for them to send referral #5 to! If it's in Boston, we'll make a day of it!
