kleigh That's too funny. Is it when she's hungry or when she's fighting sleep? And if it helps any, C's longer stretches started with him crying, me getting up and getting a bottle ready and him passing back out before I got back in the room. Hopefully this is a sign of better sleep for you!
aggiebug oh no! That does not sound fun. Hope it clears up fast.
sophiegrace When our bathroom was torn down to the studs, there was one day that I swear I heard a bird through the door. I was freaking out but luckily it was not inside, whatever it was. I think not having walls made outside noises sound louder and closer.
sophiegrace Since the gate just goes up against the entertainment center, no. We used to have the living room completely enclosed, but she figured out how to climb over it once she was about 19/20 months. Before that, around, oh, 13 or 14 months she figured out how to pull it away from the wall and sneak in since we had the ends not connected, just tucked against a corner. Not sure what we'll do with Lilah since Lillian won't stand for the gate being up and closing off the living room.
sophiegrace I only got one pill to take. Is that not normal? My symptoms are definitely better, I was just worried since it wasn't gone yet that H could get thrush.
Yeah, I can't read. Not sure why I thought you were doing the longer therapy. Ugh, sorry.
I hope you feel better immediately. How's M feeling?

I figured. I'll attack that issue when we get there if that's the case. I get this sneaking suspicion that she's not going to enjoy being enclosed either.
hangry #Team5Hours Hell I might even make a deal with the devil and accept 4 soon enough.
I don't know who I'm trying to kid, 3 or 4 hours would be a dream. But 5-6 hours could actually be sustainable. I was trying not to be greedy for a normal 7-8 hours.

Mia must have known we're off to the Pedi tomorrow because she's finally rolled belly to back. And when girlfriend was ready to roll, she was ready because she did it ten times in a row.
OMG tgrimes1980 not sure why I thought you were talking about your husband getting thrush?!?? Lol. Did not even put it together that you meant baby H lol.
sophiegrace Nope! AB was not sleeping at all last night. I've never seen H lose his cool about the babies and he did early this morning 😪 He's usually so "no big deal" about it but I guess it's wearing on him too :-(. But yay for M rolling!!!
Go M sophiegrace! That's awesome! J has yet to roll. We also go to the pedi tomorrow and I was hoping I could tell her yes when she asks if he's rolling.
I thought she'd never do it. Up until this afternoon she was making more progress on tilting while on her back. I think her weight has a lot to do with it taking so long. A lot more momentum is needed! And IIRC J's usually 1/2 to a full pound more that her.

The part to tgrimes1980 just made me snort my water.
I feel terrible about your H. Sleep deprivation is scary. Hopefully AB will follows AV's lead and they'll both give some good stretches tonight. It can't get worse so it's got to get better from here, right?

sophiegrace awesome that M rolled over! I'm still waiting for O to do it.
I picked O up from daycare. Teacher said he did good for his first day. They take pics throughout the day. At least I know he was happy part of the day! *poof*
waitwhat That's so frustrating!! My MOH was like that. It made me so mad I ended up not speaking to her for 6 months and we didn't see each other for over a year.
tgrimes1980 When I had yeast infections, I felt better the next day, 100% by the 3rd day.
sophiegrace We got a better sleeper the 2nd time. Not a unicorn, but waaaaay better. We were both prepared for the worst and were pleasantly surprised. Like, Lillian almost never napped and woke up crying. Lilah just woke up from her 3 hour afternoon nap, smiling at me.
C rolled over 3 times in the baby class last week and zero times since. I don't know what it was about that class.. maybe the music? I wish he would at least do it for H.
Well, it's 6pm and H isn't home from work yet but I just got both babies down for bed! Ok everyone hold your breath! My neighbor said try both slept like crao today and I'm hoping they'll make up for lost naps tonight ?? They went down so easy it's scary.
Adeline is better at rolling back to tummy, anyone else having this ? I mean she does both but when she's on her back she puts her legs in the air, grabs her feet, rolls to her side, and then uses her arm to flip to her tummy. She's such a peanut she's got no weight holding her back. Alec on the other hand is happy on his back although he does this funny pelvic thrust which I think is him trying to move himself up/over.

kleigh Wow Adeline seems to have that figured out perfectly. That seems kind of advanced to me but I'm a FTM and C has never done back to tummy so what do I know lol.

Our power has gone off and back on 3 times in the last hour. It's lasting less than a minute each time. I'm trying to make dinner so this is really annoying. I'm giving it one more chance before I give up and order carry-out.
kleigh Lilah is great at rolling both ways. She's been rolling tummy to back since 4 weeks so it makes sense that it's a pretty seamless for her. She also rolls back to tummy by bringing up her knees and rolling onto her side. But, she then throws her top hip over and slides her bottom arm out. I think it definitely is easier for the lighter babies to reach physical milestones because they have less weight to move around. Lillian was similarly small and did everything early.
I think my baby is reading the Wonder Weeks app. Lol L just started the 4th and scary 5 week long leap! And today on his first day of this leap was just a mess! He was doing short snacking breastfeeding today, and he only wants to be held!

Completely agree that it's likely bc of their size - she is so physically in charge. So ingerestingly now a couple times I've tried something with Alec (getting him to roll, getting him to push on his legs/feet if you "stand them up", etc, and he'll just sit there like "not having it mom".... So then I'll do it with her and you see him just staring so intently and watching her. Then if I pick him back up he'll sometimes imitate it! I hope that kind of stays the case, it could totally be coincidence but it's usually physical things he'll copy her on as if it's difficult to figure out on his own but not by watching someone else do it. Alternatively he has gotten really good at putting his pacifier in his mouth and that's something that she has no interest in even attempting. #lazybaby #thatsyourjobmom. Le sigh.
kleigh I obviously don't have twins, but my nephew is only 2 weeks younger than O. We don't live nearby, but every time we would see them, both my sister and I would notice our own kids trying new things that the other kid was already doing or more advanced at. This has been for physical, social, and language type things. I can only imagine it's true for twins! Must be soo cool to watch!
kleigh that is so cute that Alec seems to try and imitate Adeline. It must be so cool to have twins to get to see stuff like that. I had both kids in the tub tonight and I noticed C would lift her hand up and down to splash when B was doing something similar. I think babies are more observant than we give them credit for!
All these rolling babies...I love it! C has gotten to about 90% a few times (back to tummy) but that's about it. I've mentioned before that B took forever to roll, I think bc he was so massive.
waitwhat She was my best friend. We were extremely close before, did things together all the time. About halfway through my engagement she started having issues. Acting weird etc. My mom offered to do my bridal shower at her house etc and my MOH said she'd help plan, set up, clean up. Never helped at all. Nothing. In fact, she showed up late and left early. I had to plan my own bachelorette party because she kept saying she would and never did. The other bridesmaids couldn't really do it because they were all out of state (SILs in CO and other close friend in Iowa). And then at the wedding she was really unhappy looking, told my SIL she wanted to do the toast and then at the literal last second said no and SIL had to do it on the spot, changed into her sweats for the reception, and freaked out because our piano player told her she looked pretty. Seriously.
But yes, we are still friends. Not as close as we were. We never fully recovered from it. She's my friend who lives in Spain now, so it kind of works out. I think if she lived here still it would feel more strained. My wedding was 4 years ago Thursday and I still feel annoyed when I think about it.
kleigh Lilah watches Lillian intently all the time. I have heard that younger siblings do things faster because they try to imitate their sibling(s). I'm sure that it's slightly different with twins, but the same idea? Lilah doesn't take a pacifier, but she loves sticking her soft toys/blankets in her mouth. Also, her thumb! She loves to suck on it to go to sleep.

Oh hell no to sweats at your reception ClassyMrsA!! That's crazy. Did you ever find out what her problem was?
I know this is the opposite thing but my sister is MOH for a crazy bride. The shit she was telling me was making me mad. She's treating her like a wedding planner instead of MOH and actually sent her a list from the knot about what a MOH should do but is misinterpreting the list.

No. I never did. I talked to her about it after and she seemed to not even realize that there was an issue or that I was upset.
