tgrimes1980 we are in the same boat. Millie threw up twice last night. Then again at midnight and again at 3. She's totally acting fine now and is hungry. I'm making her sip water and let her have toast. I slept with her to catch any night time barfing. So glad I did. The mess was minimal. Today is going to be a long day.
DH got in late last night; he re-packed and is taking B to his speech check-in (rescheduled from last week) and then is heading to a conference through Thursday.
C slept til 7, woke up to nurse, then fell back asleep and is still passed out. Growth spurt? Idk. When she wakes up, I'm going to try and run to the grocery store with her while B is with DH so I don't have to take both kids. If I'd known she was going to sleep this long I would've gone to the store awhile ago.
Cadence threw up last night around 11. It seemed to be a one time thing, as she was ready to play right after. She was up and fine this morning as well. Hoping it really was just a one time thing. I don't like cleaning up vomit, especially in a toddler bed where she just happens to get it past the mattress and in between the railings. Ugh.
We ate at SIL's last night, so I'm wondering if it was something there. The burgers were less done than she is used to and they only have almond milk, which Cadence has never had before. Who knows. I'll have to wait and see if it happens again.

klongoria11 on no. Did she stay home? Millie was begging me to go to school. I wish she could go but I don't feel right sending her. She is acting totally normal though. @gustergirl I'm hoping it's quick like yours. The two motn pukes were bc she drank water after being sick.

Since it was just the one time at 11 and never again, yes, I let her go to school. I asked her this morning if her tummy hurt and she said, "No, I'm busy looking for my shopkins." So I think she was fine and it really was just something she ate.
I'm going to talk to her teacher though, because she has been complaining about her tummy hurting ALL. THE. TIME. I never know if she is serious or not. So I want to see if she complains about it at school. If so, then I may schedule her to see her pedi, just to rule out anything serious.

klongoria11 Millie has been complaining about that too. She's been very picky about her food lately and isn't eating as much as usual. And I feel like she's definitely not eating nearly enough fruits and veggies right now.
Morning! MIL is picking up H in about an hour and then S & I will head to the eye doctor to get my glasses fixed. It's supposed to get to the low 60s today so I will try and get the girls outside this afternoon, as long as it isn't too windy.
I think some kids say their tummy hurts for attention. They don't actually know what that means but they know mommy will treat them special so they say it. Obviously that's not all kids and not all the time.
B also complains about his tummy hurting. But i think it's because my kid is a weirdo and wants/likes to take medicine.
I usually ask him if some M&Ms will make it feel better and he says yes.
He's never thrown up or had a stomach bug. I am scared for that eventuality.
Same. I also think he complains b/c most of the kids at school have been passing around the stomach bug so they get attention when they say their tummy hurts.
This morning he coughed twice then said his tummy hurt. Then went on to have a full breakfast and go to school.
I am not good with vomit (I mean I guess who is, right?) so I am terrified for it as well.

I amend this...B threw up some formula in the car when he was about 7 months old--I gave him too much and he was crying and it all came back up. It was pretty disgusting, but not related to illness or anything.
lfigge LT for more FIL commiseration. Having anyone underfoot can complicate the routine, so ideally they'd be a perfect houseguest, but sounds like your FIL is not.
This morning I found a dirty glass on my counter and a bag of chips opened and just left in the pantry. Like, I'm fine if you want a smack, just please put dirty dishes in the DW--or at least the sink--and put opened food away properly. Argh.
LizInFL - I think that's pretty normal. I worry sometimes that my Mom bothers DH so much for that exact same reason. To be fair, I'm terrified of turning into her, too. LOL.
And DNW all this throwing up. I hope all the sick kiddos recover quickly.
Good Lord, way too much vomit this morning! Hope everyone is feeling better soon.
DH is working at a location 2 hours away all week so it's just me ~12 hours/day. Today is a DC day so I had lunch with an old coworker and continuing the job hunt. Probably frozen pizza for dinner.
I didn't post much this weekend but we had a family get together at my parents house that was St Patrick's day themed. L was so cute collecting gold coins, and it was good to see some relatives I haven't seen in a while.
I got up for the day at 3:40, because Chase woke up screaming and was WIRED. He was perfectly fine, he just wanted some attention. I rocked him for a bit but he was bouncing all over the place, so I put him down and hoped against hope that he'd calm himself. No such luck, so rinse and repeat a few times before I gave up. I left for my run at 5:20 and DH said that he passed out just before 5:30. He puts himself to sleep at bedtime just fine and occasionally falls back to sleep on weekend mornings if we leave him be, so it's not like he doesn't know how to fall asleep on his own. He's been on the drops now for 4+ days, so I doubt he's still in pain. I'm afraid he may just be used to getting attention in the MOTN because he was sick for so long.
And clearly I'm exhausted because I forgot I was in the middle of typing this out. It's going to be a long day!
I was confused too... I'm on facebook but I don't think I'm connected to any of you on there. I just got on the Instagram with you guys recently, so I'm always a bit behind

Hi ladies.
Holy moly with all the vomit. Sorry so many of you dealt with that last night and this morning. I'll be going home to Lysol everything now.
M developed the start of a cold I think. He was sniffling and coughing throughout the day yesterday. Also had a little cough MOTN that we had to give Zarabees for, so I'll be trying to get him well this week and keep him from getting worse.
I'm having an uneventful day at work and I hope it stays that way. I hope tonight is just as uneventful for you guys, too! No more vomit kiddos!
