Newborn baby size. Actually, she is right around 6 lbs.
Aches and Pains: I'm pretty good, although I think I may have a yeast infection from the antibiotics during labor and delivery. I called my doctor for an oral prescription.
The sleep situation: Not too bad. I have to pump every 3 to 4 hours, and sometimes feed the baby on top of that, but she always sleeps (heavily) in between feedings. I have to wake her up to eat.
Anything else? Not at the moment.
corinne that sounds like the mucus plug to me. Mine didn't have blood mixed in, just a lot of mucus.
Aches and pains: I'm still having sciatic pain, but that's become a way of life. Other than that, baby constantly hangs out on my right side so I feel all the movement there.
The sleep situation: Insomnia was in full effect last night and I was up between 12:30 and 2:30. Most nights aren't so bad.
Anything else: Hanging in there, but I'd be more than happy for baby girl to show up a little early. I've been trying to walk, walk, walk so let's hope it's at least helping a little.
Aches and pains: very sore hips and lower back, especially after grocery shopping this morning. Random contractions every once in a while but nothing much yet.
The sleep situation: I'm definitely not sleeping well, lying down for too long makes the hip and back pain worse. Body is preparing for newborn wake ups haha.
Anything else: Hoping baby will stay put another week so they can make it to term and my doctor can get back but also kind of hoping baby won't wait all the way until their due date like DS (born at 40 + 1) or go over. I'm sore!

EDD/baby's age: 22 days old (EDD was 3/13)
baby's size: 6lbs and around 10 oz, definitely over birth weight.
Aches and pains: nothing, really. I felt immediately great after delivery. Very different from my first - well, I felt better then, too, but also very fatigued and puffy.
The sleep situation: I'm still waking Max to eat (2 hours during the day, 4 at night if he doesn't wake on his own) because he looks so skinny and I'm not sure if there are different rules for preemies. He also still looks a little yellow so frequent feedings should help that. We have an appt tomorrow where I will ask all the questions.
I'd be sleeping pretty well, really, if I could just stop coughing all night.
Anything else: he's having green mucusy poops but not every time so I'm not sure if it's a milk fat imbalance, a mild virus, or a sensitivity to something I'm eating. I hate the guessing game. (Also asking about this tomorrow.)
baby's size: a baby. At 36 weeks U/S said 6 lbs 2 oz, so I have no idea how big he is.
Aches and pains: My hip (a previous condition before pregnancy) is out so bad that I can barely walk. And little boy keeps pressing on my cervix.
The sleep situation: Doing ok on the sleep front. I don't sleep without DH very often, so we'll see how this week goes.
Anything else: My mom brought me back to Denver so I can stay with her until the baby comes so I'm closer to the hospital. I'm really hoping I'm far enough along tomorrow at my appointment they can strip my membranes or something to get me going. DH has to drive two hours to get here so it'd be nice to have some control over when stuff happens. I don't like the idea of him rushing to make it in time at like 2 AM or something. Otherwise, they'll schedule an induction next week if I haven't progressed enough.
Baby's size: She was up to 7 lb, 1 oz at our last appt. Her birth weight was 7lb, 7oz so we aren't at birth weight yet. We have a check in tomorrow though!! FX
Aches and pains: My nethers are suffering. The itching as I heal is hell on earth but I'm dealing. My pain meds are dwindling and I'm getting nervous about it even though I'm actually managing okay.
The sleep situation: Pretty sure that this girl has her days and nights mixed up. Thankfully though, she doesn't fuss when she is awake at night, so she will just stare at the wall quietly at 4 am after she eats. It's not the worst. Other than that, she sleeps really well when I am holding her. Not H..... only me. Lol.
Anything else: I'm sad about breastfeeding--seems to not be working out again, and that sucks because DD actually can latch unlike my first. I just don't have any milk. It was like this in round one so I don't know why I expected it to be different but I gusss I thought with her being full term, she would have a better shot at this. It just sucks. I feel like I have to justify myself to everyone even tho I don't. But she was at 6lbs, 8oz at her first check up! An over 10% weight loss!! I can't just let her starve while I wait for milk that may never come in!!!
My milk came in on 9 days pp with my first born (and it was like just tiny drops) and I am at 9 days now so I am crossing my fingers for something since this girl can actually latch.....but trying not to hold out hope.

I just have a lot of feels.
Sounds like we had similar milk situations. Feeding is the most important. I had to tell myself that alot.
Fed is definitely the most important! I have had to repeat it a lot through the week. It still hits me hard sometimes though :/
Aches and pains: Today, some nausea. In general: hips & sciatic pain. Also, until I was pregnant I had no idea that the baby moving could hurt.
The sleep situation: Not as bad as I feared, but I'm not getting high quality sleep. I'm awake 3-5 times a night, but thankfully only usually have to get up 2-3 times to pee.
Anything else: Humorous more than anything, I've started receiving requests on when to have the baby. OB & my Mom requested I wait until after this week since they're both N/A. MIL requested before March 25th (EDD March 23rd) because she will be driving through our city then. These requests also reflect when they think the baby will be born: OB & my Mom vote late while MIL thinks before EDD.

Last time I had alot of crying. I've been trying to prepare myself for this time being similar. It's amazing how the hormones mess with you
Oh yes the hormones are such a bitch. I cried just a few hours ago as LO rooted toward my nose when I gave her a kiss on the cheek. I was like "no there is nothing there sweetie......or anywhere.....because my boobs won't work for you....." Cue tears for days.
Fed is the most important and I know it. Those damn hormones tho. Now that DD is getting consistent food, she is such a pleasant and thriving baby. I can't be upset about that. DS was almost fully formula fed and that kid is a genius.

EDD: 3/21, induction on 3/14 Baby's size: us at 36 weeks estimated 6lbs. I have an us scheduled for Thursday so we'll see what that says. I'm really hoping I get to skip and get the actual weight of the baby and not an estimate. Sleep: I've gotten a few 3-4 hour stretches that have been awesome. Those have been few and far between since July. Anything else: I'm done so it's going to be a looooong week if she doesn't come before I'm induced. DH is done. He is so anxious about her arrival and on edge.
EDD/baby's age: March 9 Baby is 11 days old-Born 2/23
baby's size: was 5 lbs 7 oz on last Monday (birth weight)
Aches and pains: some cramping/bleeding/itching much better than with DD1 though!
The sleep situation: sleeps all day and at night isn't going back to sleep after eating for awhile. Hopefully, tonight is the last night of bilirubin blanket. I think it makes it hard for her to sleep.
Anything else: DH kind of acts ridiculous during middle of the night wake ups. He said she was waiting until he put the covers on to fuss and tries to "run" the two feet to grab the diapers.
Aches and pains: still having swelling in my feet. Going for a massage this week to see if I can get some it out.
Sleep: some nights I can piece together 8 hours of sleep (if I go to bed at 8pm). Other nights I'm getting 3-4.
I still can't believe I have twins. It's really hard to not feel guilty about snuggling them as much as I would like to - ie I get one changed and fed, then rinse and repeat.
baby's size: I wasn't paying attention at my ultrasound last week because my toddler was throwing goldfish....they said something about 54th percentile?
Aches and pains: Pain that radiates down my right thigh...
The sleep situation: Up every few hours to pee.
Anything else: I am nesting and super rage-y. Also way bigger than at delivery last time.
baby's size: OB estimated at 7ish lbs around now but no growth ultrasound so who really knows
Aches and pains: Lots of pubic pain. Sometimes this translates to difficulty walking. I've also been having lots of irregular contractions.
The sleep situation: I sleep ok unless DD wakes me up (then I can't get back to sleep for hours even if she only needs me for a few minutes). Up to pee once or twice most nights but definitely waking more often now that it's really hard to get comfortable
Anything else: DH is out of town tonight but back tomorrow night (work thing). My next appt is Wed and dr wants to do membrane sweep then so fingers crossed!
corinne I'm in a similar boat with the yellowish mucus. Mine is once or twice a day in larger chunks though so I also think it's the plug. cosmicav and corinne (again) I feel you ladies on the breast feeding difficulties. This sounds a lot like what I went thru with DD (complete with crying and beating myself up over it). I'm definitely going to try again this time but I'm trying to mentally prepare myself in case it doesn't work again. I've had the same thoughts about "maybe if he's bigger or latches better it'll work" but I know last time a lot of it was my body just not producing. Hang in there, and try not to be hard on yourself. You're doing an amazing job and keeping that kiddo fed which is the most important thing!!!
EDD/baby's age: 03/20 scheduled c-section at 39w, only 13 days to go!
baby's size: 6lb9oz at last week's u/s
Aches and pains: feeling large and in charge but nothing too bad. Heartburn is ramping up so I have to be more cautious with what I eat.
The sleep situation: waking up around 2-3 to pee and 5-6 to pee and let dogs out.
Anything else: can't quite figure out if she's "dropped." I'm definitely peeing more and get lightening crotch here and there but also still feel like her butt is stuck in my rib cage. Maybe she's just a long baby lol
Baby's size: Chunky. Floating around 10lbs. She dropped down to about 9.7lbs in hospital and is at or just above that now based on yesterday's appointment.
Aches and pains: my abdomen just feels really sore and bruised. My incision is beginning to "wake up" so there is some burning at times but it is all pretty manageable as long as I keep poppin advil on the regular. Definitely better than my vaginal delivery recovery.
Sleep situation: lol. Actually, not horrible. My H is the real MVP. He is doing all nighttime stuff while he is off for the week.
Anything else: well... I just had my first PP poop and it was not hellacious like I assumed it would be, so that was a wonderful surprise. Thank the Lort for colace!
sms2524: I also have alternating rib shoving and lightning crotch. I'm not super tall and the u/s tech said the baby seemed long so maybe that is why. Unless you're tall, haha.
The sleep situation: not good. Woke up at 2am last night when DD woke up, but she put herself back to sleep and I laid awake until 415. H's alarm went off at 5 (which he never gets up to the 1st time, but I have to b/c the animals start dancing around and screaming at me for breakfast).
Anything else: I've been done for weeks now, but omg now I'm miserable. H is being a jerk..I'm sure something's bothering him at work and he will randomly come home at some point and tell me about it, but for now he has said 2 words to me in 36 hours soo...stahp being mean to me I'm freaking 9 months pregnant.

EDD/baby's age: 3/30
baby's size: Chihuahua lol
Aches and pains: All the things. My back, my hips, my pelvic bone, heartburn, certain baby movements, and that annoying feet/ankle swelling feeling
The sleep situation: Ugh. Up to pee at least twice a night but usually more. And up often to roll from side to side from general discomfort. The rolling is always a production.
Anything else: I'm just ready. I'm stuck in that weird, okay, please go ahead and come any day baby but go ahead and bake for a couple more weeks phase. Ughhhh.
Anything else: I'm just ready. I'm stuck in that weird, okay, please go ahead and come any day baby but go ahead and bake for a couple more weeks phase. Ughhhh.
Once again, saying things that I could say EXACTLY.
