Is bloody show the same as a mucus plug? Asking for a friend...
Not really. Asking because I think I had it. Bloody/mucusy stuff, right? Is it actual onset of labor, or is it just a sign that you're indeed near the end of pregnancy and labor could be days/weeks away still like the mucus plug?

Nasty storm, anxiety ridden dog, little boy apparently needing next size up diapers, changed his bassinet sheets 3 times, BUT I woke up feeling pretty decent, so here's hoping!
We haven't moved up in diaper size yet, probably should soon. I'd like to go to cloth. In any case, we've found that aiming his little penis down helps a ton with leaks. He was making a mess of everything until we started that.

For me is was blood streaked mucous. With DS I had my bloody show around 10pm and labour began around 1am.
mikaela20 ugh, SO CUTE! Max still has the skinniest legs, too, so I'm also waiting on the cloth.
I'm with you both on this. I don't remember DS having such skinny legs and he was 1.5lbs lighter. I didn't start cloth until he was 3m though so I probably just don't remember well enough.
Ahhhh! The pictures! All soo cute, both bumps and tiny ones!
ugaqueencity, It took a few weeks, but now my dh isn't fretting over not being able to help with the feeding aspect as badly. You get into a routine and you both figure out how to help each other. Pumping is awesome and wonderful to have a stash, but it is annoying and my little guy refuses to give up enough of my supply right now.
As for us, tiny decided to choke on his own spit this morning. Thank God I had (for the first time) left his little snuggle nest elevated at the head. It took us about five minutes to get him totally sorted out. He scared us soo badly. I was using tricks I learned in the NICU to reset his breathing >< Adrenaline has both DH and I up and wide awake, so I made eggs and toast for the whole family.
Whatever random sickness I picked up really sucks. It definitely doesn't feel like strep so I am happy about that but my nose is crazy tingly so I keep sneezing and OMG OUCH.
At the hospital, just having mild contractions and Im still at 3 cm, but my blood pressure was high so they're keeping me for a little bit and doing bloodwork. Im erring on the side of false alarm, or just barely catching the begining of labor, but since Im GBS+ they wanted me to come in just to be sure.

The carseat safety video at our hospital is so bad. Every single example of the kid in the seat is wrong. Straps to loose, seat moving to much in the car. Just..so bad.

That's terrible! So many people do it wrong how it is, at least teach the correct way.
Right, my brother is a state trooper and tells us you wouldn't believe the mistakes he fixes for people. At least when he fixes it with them they are safe.
