H had an early morning for work so I was up with him at 4am making him bfast.
Dr appt yesterday was the usual..Bp still good (it randomly spiked for a few weeks at this point last time) and weight gain is just about done. I was hoping he might check to see if I'm dilating at all but nope. He asked when I went into labor with #1 (I was induced at 41w) and he says, "ah, so its unlikely this one will be much earlier then". Way to burst my bubble doc..
DH has slept through each time they bring DS into the room. I feed then have to wake him up to change diaper. I feel mildly bad about waking him up, but seriously, how can you sleep through this?!?
I was worried about his heavy sleeping with DD and he was great getting up with her, guess he is more relaxed this time. :/

Looks like I'm up next!
The u/s showed a knot in the cord. There is good blood flow but my ob doesn't want to risk the baby making one wrong move and something happening so she sent me straight over to be induced. I'm at 4cm and my water started conveniently leaking in the office after she checked me so hopefully this doesn't take too terribly long!

Max woke up every three hours like clockwork last night, and I'm STILL coughing and now have disgusting goopy eyes, so it's off to the doctor with my tiny newborn in tow to see if this can be helped by meds. Meds that are also compatible with nursing. Should be fun!
I'm taking baby girl out with me to get a pedicure in a bit. I can't stay in the house, so I can't wait til she is 4 weeks and I feel less guilty getting out and about.

😂A pedicure for me only. She's just going to hang.

Maybe it's because Clara was born in late May but I was out of the house every day of my leave from the first day we came home. Even if it was just walk around the neighborhood but I needed to get out. It helped me felt human. Don't feel guilty! Enjoy your pedicure! 💅🏻

I started going to Target on a regular basis when DD1 was 4 days old (2 days out of the hospital). People thought I was crazy but I just couldn't stay cooped up any longer and she has turned out just fine (so far)! Enjoy your pedi!
While I am sitting on the couch holding the baby, he pats the baby swing and says, "Right here. Baby R right here." Lol like put the baby here and let's do something different.

I've missed a lot this morning!
Work has been crazy. They decided last minute to send over someone else to be trained to help out while I'm gone. So I've been repeating all the things I've already told one person. Like, really, you couldn't have done this all at once so I didn't have to waste my time doing this TWICE?! Ugh.
Tuesday I felt all kinds of movement, yesterday I felt some, but nothing crazy. I had to focus a little more than normal to feel her. Today I'm feeling a little movement, but again nothing crazy. I'm trying to tell myself that movement is good, even if it's not as obvious. I don't want to contact my doctor like a crazy person. I have an nst/doctor visit tomorrow.
If your gut instinct is telling you to call your OB, do it. It's okay to be a "crazy person" if things don't seem quite right at this point in your pregnancy.
I called my OB pretty much everyday the last week of pregnancy. I really thought I was a crazy FTM, but turns out things were happening.
We were out a lot during DSs first week but that was mainly because we were closing on our house and had to be back and forth from the lawyers and such.
So far with DD we have only gone out once which was for her 2 day follow up with the NICU.
It's chilly outside today but both my H and I are stir crazy so we will be going on a short walk when DS wakes from his nap. Pretty sure he needs it as bad or worse than we do! I'd really like to take him to the running room but a place like that is probably one of the worst to have a newborn in tow. Buncha toddlers going HAM, spewing their toddler bacteria all over the place.
