I'm 10 days postpartum and am having the worst cramps/pain in the lady bits, I physically doubled over when I stood up earlier it hurt so bad. Is this normal or should I be worried? I was feeling pretty good before today so it's messing with my mind
If it's that painful, I would probably call to be safe. However, I do remember my pain getting worse around 7-10 days PP with DS, which really suprised me. So it might just be one of those things.

I wish they would just break everything down before you leave the hospital. Obviously it's different for everyone, but I'm too tired to deal with these kinds of surprises
For real. I'm always glad that I have the boards to tell me if I'm crazy. I hope you're feeling better soon.
One side of my incision is burning with the intensity of a thousand suns. There is no redness (according to my H. I can't see it myself because it is under my flapjack) or anything concerning visually.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal healing? I know my nerve endings are healing and stuff so my guess is that I am just regaining feeling and thus feeling more pain.
Also, this cold has me coughing and sneezing a lot which can't help.

Mine Iooks almost completely healed now. But the skin around the right side burns when touched. Almost like a bruise pain but not quiet. More like a painful tingly burn. I'm thinking its from nerve endings healing. My GP said it looks good and is healing nicely.

It's my right side as well! My H keeps saying how great it looks so I feel doubtful that it is an infection but it still makes me anxious. I think maybe it is sore on the right because it is my dominant side.

I think it's also maybe my uterus shrinking. My uterus was tender right after.
If it's an infection you would probably have a fever and redness at the incision. But keep and eye in it- hopefully it goes away soon.
I feel guilty on weekdays I have such a hard time catching up on the threads after work. My eyes have a hard time focusing.
ETA: I just realized how stupid this sounds now compared to you with newborns. I'll stfu now. Working full time during 3rd tri is tiring and it's hard to check the forums throughout the day with work, but I'm sure nothing compared to the lack of sleep you are all dealing with!
My toddler had so many meltdowns late this afternoon and into evening, so glad it's bedtime! I'm far too tired to deal with it because I'm barely sleeping. My emotions are everywhere since I feel like I can't do anything well right now- care for DS, get things done around the house, pick baby things (our double stroller arrived and I don't love it as much as I hoped, nothing major). There's so much to do and I can't anymore.
mosdub working full time in third tri is miserable so don't feel bad about complaining--I remember those weeks being literally the least productive ever in my work life. Soooo much procrastination and doing the least lol
It's hard when your boobs don't do what you want them to do. After the hormones settle down and we get to see DD's little personality developing and growing, it will be easier. That's how it was with my son.
Congrats erinshelley21! And I've been having contractions all day!! Not regular but a few an hour at least and sometimes more like every 5-10 mins! Hoping this continues and doesn't just stop, but who knows...they're not really painful yet mostly just uncomfortable although I have lots of lower back pain and some nausea. I'm excited but also freaking out that this could (maybe) be the last night alone with DD 😢
Just watched a video of a woman who couldn't make it into the hospital - she had her baby while getting out of the car at the emergency room drop off outside. H was like "WHY WAS HER H RECORDING?!" The poor valet and security guy were like:
and it didn't seem like any nurses/docs made it out there until baby was born!
