Good morning! Sitting in my car at work. I wait for my 2 work friends before going inside because we are a bunch of little girls. Tomorrow is DH's birthday. We have a sitter Saturday night but I have to figure out where to go.
DH gets back today! Poor guy is going to immediately be put to work. Sorry, honey.
While B is at preschool this morning, I'm getting my hair done (and taking C...recipe for disaster?) We have some windows being replaced this afternoon so we'll be around the house while that is going on. Our realtor is coming by later on with the contract, etc. it's getting real

Morning! We have a huge power outage throughout Michigan due to the high winds yesterday. Thankfully we still have power, they're predicting people will be without until Sunday or later. Yikes.

Morning. I need coffee. I'm extra sleepy today. I have a first world problem. I have a lunch at 1130 but the maids are scheduled to come between 12-2. I've got everything crossed they come at 12. I just have lots of work to do and I need to be out of the house when they are here and c gets gone from school at 3. It's such a stupid problem to have.
My parents get here tomorrow. They are helping out w my brothers kids while they do sxsw stuff. We got amazing news. My dad is cancer free! He had a pet scan last week and he's in the clear!! Cancer free officially since November 8th. I swear, he's a walking miracle!
Cadence told me to have a great day today and that she promised to be good at school. I'm hoping she keeps her promise. I watched the dc camera yesterday as her and one of her little friends played some game that involved body slamming each other onto their nap mats. No one got hurt and both seemed to be having fun doing it, but I would prefer less contact playing.

Those with 2+ kids.... will you do Easter bunny/Santa pics w BOTH kids on the character's lap? Like does anyone do individual shots of their kids?
I'm thinking about it too much. I was just thinking back to when I only had B and she was obviously the only one in the shot. Then I was realizing that all C's pics have B there w him.
Morning! I forgot to mention yesterday in my update that S was a rockstar yesterday. She napped for a while on the way there and then was happy pretty much the whole time we were there. Right at the end she started to get crabby but it was because she was tired. We hit the road and she was out.
H is at preschool and I stopped at Starbucks on the way home. The cinnamon almond milk macchiato is so good! My sister dropped off my nephew because she has training all day. We will be having a low key day at home.
Disney on Ice is coming back here next month. It looks like Belle & Elsa so M would love it. I'm trying to decide which time would work best for us. Staying up too late vs skipping naptime. Decisions, decisions.

I never thought about that way, yummeecookee . I guess I always saw it as a siblings' thing and Josie's just happened to be alone because Charlie wasn't here. But to be honest with ourselves situation, we didn't do pictures j's first year because she was too little, the second year she was terrified, so I only have one shot of her with Santa alone. We've never done the Easter bunny pics.
This is us too, though I have a couple bunny pictures because C has always been into the Easter bunny. Santa/Easter bunny pictures are cute, but not a huge keepsake for me so I don't really care if we get the pictures or who is in them!
guster - Colin boycotts milk for weeks at a time, but will start back up again. He eats yogurt and cheese, and gets plenty of calories, so we don't worry about it.
Morning! Chase slept last night so we all slept last night. He really needs to start doing this more than every 2nd night though, because it's a bit awkward at work with the difference in my appearance and attitude being so dramatic. Everyone knows what kind of night we had, LOL.
So I just went to the dentist. I was sitting in the waiting room when almost half the ceiling fell in! Like tiles, lighting, vents, wires all over the place. Luckily no one was hurt ( I was the only patient there). But there was a bunch of dust and I started coughing so I went outside... Needless to say I'll have to reschedule.
Of course now I'm worrying about dust inhalation during pregnancy. Wish I could shut off that part of my brain!

hi. thanks for the tag lfigge. Life is going on. Spring break starts Friday. I am just holding on until then. MH and my dad are supposed to build my greenhouse this Saturday, but it looks like thunderstorms all day. Of course.
I just got a phone call asking me to do a pizza delivery for lunch for our Law Enforcement staff that is currently in EMS (emergency medical services) training. I happily accepted this task. It gets me out of the office on this beautiful day and I get to join them for lunch and have some pizza! The training is at a Nature Preserve and there is an outdoor classroom overlooking a beautiful lake that we will be having lunch at. I probably will have a hard time getting motivated to do any work after I get back to the office from this. Also, pizza is not on my list of things I should eat because of my acid reflux...but I am going to cheat and have a piece and hope I don't regret it. I have been eating so well, one little piece shouldn't hurt. I miss pizza.
If you take Zantac before you eat the pizza would that help?
Cadence goes through a gallon of milk in less than a week. Thursdays we buy a quart to get us to grocery store day, Sunday.
We buy 2 gallons at a time and that way we don't run out before the next grocery trip. If one is still pretty full I buy only 1 more. We rarely run out. Although when I start buying S whole milk I probably won't buy as much 2%.

This is where we were. It was really the only thing she wanted to drink with the occasional glass of water. I guess tastes change. I don't worry about her losing calcium because she's a cheese fiend, as well. She just doesn't eat a lot during the day and I knew that she was drinking her calories with the milk.
I, as a kid and adult, have never been a milk drinker. I have milk in my cereal and as a drink with certain meals (chili, pancakes, etc). I think as long as she's getting her calcium from other sources she's fine. Plus if she's not drinking her calories she might start eating more food to make up for it.
