I know, right? N has always been incredibly strong. When he went from the crib to the toddler bed, we had to remove from the room anything he could push. We also had to Velcro the bed to the floor after we went in and found it moved further down the wall or the frame near the window and mattress in front of the door. He's unbuckled the swing before, but has never tried to take G out before today. I guess G will have to hang in his crib while MH and I shower if the other adult is not home. Luckily, N cannot reach into the crib to pick him up. Yet.
My 2 yo drug the baby across the floor by an arm on Hs watch. Luckily no harm but like- why? We've told him at least 100 times not to pick up or move the baby. He waited until H turned his back and moved him.
DD is so constipated. She was grunting on my lap, went to change her and nothing. Wiped her down and there was blood. Tried the good ole thermometer trick and if that doesn't work guess I'll be buying prune juice tonight. She hasn't had a poop in 3 days, (she usually goes at least every other). Poor kid.
Have you considered using a glycerine suppository? If she's uncomfortable because of it, I'd be inclined to go that route just because it will offer quicker relief. Poor thing!
The thermometer worked. I'm not opposed to glycerin but the problem with suppositories is sometimes the bowel gets lazy and it will rely on it. Obviously not with occasional use but dd is likely going to be constipated for a bit as we're out of donated bm and it'll take a bit for her system to handle formula exclusively.

Sha259 when are you going to Ireland? We are going to England at the beginning of May. We did the same flight with #1 when she was 10 months old and it wasn't my favorite thing. I'm hoping at least #2 will be a little easier at 6 months bc she won't be mobile yet. I'm not even going to think about the toddler. She may get the iPad for the entire flight.

My toddler regularly tries to kill the baby. She does it lovingly but has no concept that the baby doesn't want to have the toddlers entire body on top of her while she smotheringly kisses her face. It's all meant well but I feel like I have to watch her very closely.
Since it's Thirsty Thursday, I bought a bunch of wine on my lunch break. You know, for my 10 year old's birthday party on Saturday. Oh, and food. I bought a bunch of food, too, for the party. But, I forgot to buy ground beef for the baked ziti, so now I have to stop after work to pick some up.
The Moana Blu Ray I ordered is being delivered today. I can't wait to watch it with my girls! We haven't seen it yet and I've heard it's awesome.

I was going to order Moana from Amazon on Tuesday when it came out, and it was already unavailable. I'm going to have to check again. I hope that N will watch it with me. Even if he doesn't, I'm still going to watch.
vavavictoria we are going the second week of May and B will be 6.5 months. I'm expecting it to be difficult but doable. We have both flights as non-stop red eyes and plan to try to get him to sleep on the plane. I take well wishes and prayers.

He will sleep a lot. I'm pretty hopeful for the trip at this age. It's once they are mobile and want to be crawling around that you really have a problem.

I was going to pre-order it from Amazon before it came out and it wasn't available to pre-order at all. I ended up ordering it from Target on Tuesday morning. I have their Red Card (Debit), so 5% off and free shipping on everything. The version I ordered comes with a 32 page storybook, exclusive to Target, and of course now that people have started receiving theirs, I'm seeing reviews about how awful the packaging is... it's literally a book with the discs attached inside the book. How stupid! Now I'll probably have to go to Target anyway and return it and just get the regular Blu Ray. Grrr.
The one day I have dinner cooking in the crock pot, the effing power goes out on my street. Nobody's home to turn the crock pot back on. I would ask my neighbor to go in and turn it back on, but there's no spare key hidden anywhere and there's no way to get in my house. SONOFABITCH!
Ha jwinct I did the same thing with Moana at Target and went straight for the standard packaging because of the reviews...and I'm so sorry about the power and your crock pot meal
No plans here really. It snowed overnight and is trying to snow now. It's windy as balls.
I should really clean my bathroom and mop the floors. But I need to be sufficiently motivated and I am not.
For those who SAH, do you have your kids on any kind of schedule like with naps and bedtime? I know for DS we had him in bed by 8 every night. DD seems content with an 11pm bedtime, as thats when she seems to have eaten enough for the day. She's currently sleeping from 11/1130-7(or as late as 9). Should I just leave her be?
I just follow Lil p's lead. So far it's working. I make it a point to be home by 2 so I get downtime.

I guess I have them on kind of a routine. Dd2 takes a morning nap. Then I try to get them down for an early afternoon nap together. Dd2 will take a late afternoon nap. Then we do bedtimes around 730-8. I'm looking to switch bedtime up a bit more I usually do dd1 then dd2. But sometimes dd2 falls asleep on DH waiting for me. So I think we're gonna skip bedtime nursing and DH will give formula and put her down at the same time I'm putting dd1 down. Did that answer your question? If what you're doing is working koko

Ds is on a schedule. He gets up around 7 (though if he wants to sleep later by all means) and then he goes for an afternoon nap around 1230-1. Depending on his mood we start bedtime anytime between 630-730. We're in the midst of sleep training him.
DD is down for the night (I hope). She didn't have a nap after dinner, and is only about 3 oz shy of what she averages in a day. I'm predicting a MOTN wakeup to eat, but who knows. And she had another poop that I didn't have to probe for!
Question (you'd think as a STM I'd have this shit down): DD's hands are ICE when she wakes up. Like cold and purple. I know babies have shit circulation as it is. Mittens dont stay on, or she sucks on them so much it just keeps her hands wet. And makes them colder. WWO16 do?
