I poured some wine and snuggled up with L to watch something's got to give after a super rough day with Henry being under the weather. 1 hour in I'm like, wtf, how long is this move? I don't remember all this backstory on the Jack Nicholson character involving (hot) Greg kinear... where's Diane's awesome house and all the rich people??? Omg. I'm watching As Good as it Gets.
We did the Escape Room tonight, SO fun. It was such a fun, different date night. We went to dinner afterwards, and now I am tipsy-would-not-drive. Will regret this in the morning. Wooo weekends.
Also, Yankee Candle sprays either stink or I need a bigger house. I have class here in an hour and I just sprayed ONE puff. I now have the windows open despite it being chilly and rainy.

I am not as achy all over as I was yesterday but I have the worst head ache ever.
wells2010 does Tylenol affect your CGM? My nurse told me that Tylenol could give me false readings of really high blood sugars so i have been apprehensive about taking it. Even if it was a false reading I know it would still cause me to panic but I really want to take migraine medicine.
Nick is fighting a cold and overnight it got worse. No fever or anything thankfully, just a stupid cold and man is it making him cranky as fuck. I would like more coffee and my happy child back. K thanks.

Every time DS is sick I have these feelings of "You're an asshole and I really don't like you." Then I'm pleasantly surprised just how nice he is when things get back to normal.

Out of desperation I've taken it a few times recently and it hasn't affected it at all. In the past, it has really screwed it up, but that was with older dexcom devices (the 7 was the worst)!
If I had a migraine, I would definitely take something and just do fingersticks more often to confirm that everything is correct. I really benefit from excedrine migraine, which has Tylenol in it.

Molly is obsessed with her baby lately. She makes me change her diaper and give her wipes so she can clean up "baby poop." It was cute at first, now I just want to hide the damn thing.
She also started grabbing our hands and leading us to whatever it is she wants. Usually popsicles or fruit. It's getting rather annoying. Basically my toddler is toddlering and driving us nuts.
I think I might run away to Target today and leave her with H for a little while.

@wadflesfriendsworkbwelcome to the Aldi club.
I am an awesome wife who got a sitter this afternoon so we can watch the big ten champ game away from the house. Not because Sunday afternoons can be so long with cranky dst kids..... cat and the hat may be parenting until 230
H is on toddler duty all day while I go to work. I'm ashamed to admit it's giving me a little bit of pleasure that H has to deal with cranky toddler all day. By 730 he had given W his nook because he was throwing a fit. Welcome to being the parent at home, darling. It's not all fun trips to the park. Oh, and get rid of the nook..he only gets it for naps and bedtime; remember how we wanted to get rid of it by 2? Yeah, you don't get to give in and give it to him extra when trying to get rid of it! I feel a little bit like a horrible person for enjoying going to work today.
JR woke up at 7:10 and went down easily for nap at 12:50 so I think we've got DST beat! (Famous last words.) Kid loved the Purim carnival sand we have a play/dinner date at 5. Keeping her exhausted is the best way to get her to sleep, right?
Aldi frustrates me, but I feel like I've been spending way too much on food. Maybe I will try them again! Are they all organic now?
Similar feelings over here. I dragged my H there once with me (in a not so great area of town) and he was depressed at the clientele. In his words, "this looks like the undertaker's waiting room". (To his credit, 90% of the patrons were VERY sad/decrepit/frightening looking)

We love aldi! I save so much money shopping there. I always fill in at other grocery stores. I think their biggest money savers are baking items, spices, and nuts. I see a huge difference there. Though I buy more than just these items obviously.
I did see a chart that said some items are not cheaper per oz at aldi like baking spray. I was going through this so quickly when I bought it from aldi so I switched back to my grocery store.
Every week in the newspaper there is also a $10 off coupon for aldi. It is already inexpensive but if I can get $10 off it is crazy.
-If you keep J up way too late at a "camp inside a museum" event, her second wind will be unstoppable and she will run around the tent like a crazy person laughing and fussing at 11 pm.
-People really don't like toddlers keeping them awake. They might even do something really rude, like send their 9 year old daughter over to your tent to ask, "Is your baby going to cry ALL night?"
-If you get desperate and try to nurse your toddler to sleep (even though you weaned several days ago), she will find this incredibly amusing and play with your boobs like she has been reunited with an old friend. Lots of giggling, blowing raspberries, etc.
-When you give up near midnight and take only your wallet, keys, and toddler and escape out into downtown Raleigh wearing flip flops and pjs (and limping because of your swollen knee), people will give you looks like they are considering calling social services on your behalf.
(Wasn't on the street but for a min though- got to the car and crashed at a friend's house instead of paying for a hotel for less than 8 hours.)
-When you go back to the museum to pick up your H and son in the morning, it is super awkward to see all the other families that you know you were annoying last night and who probably think you slept in your car.
-Luckily, it turns out a hot shower and retail therapy fix all of that!!! (Joined jacks15 and tcck in buying alllllll the cutesy Easter mess in the Target one spot.)
ncjulia12 I'm sorry but I'm LOLing at the image of you walking around in PJs and flip flops with J. Plus I'm hearing everything in your sweet accent and it makes it so much better.
@katechristine18 anecdote time... Yesterday was mine and my H's anniversary. The day after (so today but 7 years ago) we cuddled on my couch watching Forgetting SarAh Marshall and it was when I started to realize the night prior wasn't just a booty call. It's one of our faves and we quote it all the time.
Awe!!!! Lol we quote it all the time too. The Dracula Musical is a regular song in our household.
