I was up until almost midnight getting consignment sale items ready, so of course M wakes up early. He's going to hand in his crib a minute though while I get my coffee made.

6:20 was the wake up time for the occupants in this house, including the dogs. Everyone except for me, of course, who has been awake since 4:50 for no good reason. -_-

WWYD? Two night ago H and I bought a 12 pack of light beer. I had 4 of them over 3.5 hours then went to bed. He had 1. I woke up in the middle of the night because I had to use the bathroom (number 2). After I used the bathroom I had the feeling I was going to be sick. And them I did. Never got sick again after that. H was fine. Fast forward to last night, h had 2 of those light beers and the same thing happened to him last night that happened to me the day before. Neither one of us felt sick the day after. (It's still early here but he says he doesn't feel sick). Do you think there's something wrong with this beer? Should we report what happened so they know in case there are others? Or are we just getting old and can't handle our booze? Lol

DS woke up at 3:45 which he rarely does for the last few months. After he was still crying at 4:10 I went to check in him and he had pooped. After changing him I laid down with him but I held strong not nursing and got him back to sleep. I'm glad I didn't give in I don't want want to go back to nursing at night.
M woke up happy at 7, and we snuggled in bed for a bit. Went downstairs for breakfast and he refused to eat, drink or be put down. Has a fever 101 and has fallen back to sleep in my bed. FX it's nothing major. Poor guy. He has never refused food or drink before.

Ugh. I took s1 to run a few quick errands and we left between 1000-1030. We come home around 1130 to find E fussing in the crib. My D(umb)H claimed he wanted to nap. He had no idea when he put him down or how long he slept but considering we were gone 1.5 hrs tops.... it likely wasn't very long. Now I have m a crabby toddler who won't nap at his normal time and probably won't nap at all. S1 birthday party with friends is this afternoon too. Seriously. I'm so frustrated. E will be a hot mess this afternoon at the party. I didn't think I needed to leave fucking instructions for the toddler.
I'm doing ok. The nausea has set in today for the first time, but I'm welcoming it. It's reassuring. MH has taken A on a walk to the store to get me some pickles. I'm such a cliche pregnant woman. Thanks for checking in!

Hope it went well today, @janetheconquerer!
Rocky start to today for me! Swam laps this morning and did art and swim classes with Poppy. Walked back to our apartment and realized I had forgotten my keys and wallet! H was out and apparently so were the people who live in the other two apartments in our building so no one could buzz us in. It was cold. I had wet hair, a bag filled with wet towels and swimsuits, and Poppy was strapped to me in the Kinderpack and screaming. I was doing my best to channel skinandbones sense of humor about the situation, but it was rough. Eventually MH did get back home and let us in.
Thanks for checking in! I had my first appointment with my midwife group yesterday and they squeezed me in for my first ultrasound right at the beginning of the appointment. Measuring exactly on track with my LMP due date and a perfect heartbeat!
I'm almost 9 weeks now and still feeling the all-day nausea and exhaustion. But I am powering through! Like zonagirl, I feel like the morning sickness seems like a reminder that baby is still cooking in there. DH is being super supportive as well by caring for O more when he's home, refilling my water, letting me pick dinners based on my aversions without complaining that almost everything we eat these days is some sort of pasta or cheese dish lol.
Doesn't look like much yet but here's our little blob:
I'm doing good, thanks for asking. Baby has added milkshakes to the do not consume list. I had my blood drawn on Thursday for the panorama test, so I'm hoping to find out an accurate sex of the baby soon I'm ten weeks soon, so I guess I will be officially announcing in a few weeks. Eek! Although I am tempted to keep it secret from my in laws for longer.

So M has had a fever all day. Spent the entire day snuggling with me, either sleeping or just laying with me, with very brief periods of him getting up to wander a little bit. He ended up eating and drinking a bit around dinner, but not much. The fever comes back as soon as the motrin wears off. I worry we are in for a long night. He went to bed at 7 even though he basically slept all day. Poor guy I feel terrible for him, but FFSC I was loving the snuggles. He is so busy these days, the snuggling time is very rare.
