JoeLies quarantine your H to one room so he doesn't expose his germs!
xolastunicornxo yay for Lasik! I'm surprised they're getting you in so quickly, although I think my surgeon was really cautious. I had to wear glasses for a month before he would even schedule the surgery so the shape of my eye wasn't influenced by my contacts. It sucked!
Ok @srlycantbsrs (I know that's wrong but I can never remember how to tag you) now you've really sparked my curiosity. I have no idea what car you're talking about. Say the name, then poof it!! It's killing me!

Google PBS Series and it'll pop out at you. It's also a word for stars.
Lol thank you! I don't know why I just couldn't get there!
Also, I think my kid does more chores than me. He definitely likes to be a little helper.
B loves to help, too. I wish I could let Him actually do *all* the tasks he wants to help with--I could just sit back and relax! Hope he is still as eager in a few years 😜
S loves to help too. So much that sometimes if I do something without letting him help he gets super upset. It's nice, but sometimes I just want to make dinner/fill the humidifier, etc and not do it in 'toddler time'

I hear "oh, I help you?" with every task I start. It's so sweet and I can't say no much of the time, even when the smallest chore takes 3x as long.
I usually find ways to involve him, but lately my chores have involved paint and bleach, lol.
He does do a lot outside with my H, which is great on many levels.
Bathroom and closet are painted. My hands hurt so I'm glad I'm getting a break from painting for a little bit. LizInFL do you find you need 2 coats when you do a lighter color, like cream?

Anyone have a rec for something i can use on Cadence's face? She still has a red scar/mark on her cheek from her tree climb last month. Has anyone used a good scar remover that is safe for this age?

Yes, I typically do 2 coats no matter what color I'm using, just to make sure I have good coverage.
(Aside: When we painted our then-red dining room a lighter color, it took 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint + primer to cover completely. It was so horrible.)
We just got back from dinner at my parents' and I have a somewhat belated announcement to make.
At 4:07 pm EST, I finally finished painting the trim in my house. I would like to thank Benjamin Moore, Purdy for the excellent brushes (especially that one with the ergonomic handle), HGTV for inspiration, and my parents for instilling in me perseverance and a little bit of crazy. Next time I'm hiring it out.
klongoria11 we used Mederma (sp?) when B had a really bad scrape on his forehead a year or so ago. Not sure if it helped or not but you cannot tell anything ever happened.

I've been so productive today. It could have been because of the amazing amount sleep I got last night for first night in a week. After we went to church and had lunch, I FINALLY went through M's toys and purged/organized. His play room was such an eye sore, but now it's neat and all I have to do is find some storage baskets. After that, I mopped the floors, soaked the faucet heads, did laundry, went to the grocery store, cooked M breakfast for dinner, and started on dinner for tomorrow. And I'm not even that tired... guess I should find something else to do while I'm on a roll. 🙃
I just logged into my yahoo fantasy march madness bracket. It asked if I wanted to renew any of my groups so I renewed the n13 challenge. Those that were in it last year (@sing2phins, Sunny41 etc) should get an invite in your email. If anyone else wants to join send me a pm!
Pretty good, thanks for asking. He's still got this cough and I can't figure out why, so tomorrow I'm calling the pedi to ask if it could be related to his reflux and whether or we can start Zantac.
@surelycantbesrs yeah, that is...not my favorite name.
I was at CFA the other day and heard a mom call a child 'Jo.than' (like Nathan but with Joe). I hopefully thought I might've misheard until someone asked her to spell it--probably also hoping they'd misheard. Nope, that's the name. Le sigh.

@mwhipple I only need to be out of contacts for one full week. Even that is killing me, lol. I hate wearing glasses. But I think it helped when they looked at my eyes that I've basically only been wearing my contacts for. Few hours a day for the last six months since they were bothering me so much!

Mother's of boys, please teach your sons if they pee on the toilet to clean it up. Or maybe these old men I work for WERE taught that and have just no cares in the world to bother with cleaning up after themselves. I swear my 3 year old is more potty trained than some of these dudes.
OMG at these names. snoopmommymom I love that "highness" wasn't even spelled correctly. SMH.
I know teachers see all kinds, my friend had a Ka.os in her class one year (pronounced "Chaos"--and yes, he was as terribly behaved as his name implied). Like, you are not doing your kid any favors with that.
