Nice work on completing the painting LizInFL , I feel as long as I have 'known' you, you've been painting trim. Maybe you'll miss it in the next house and start all over 😉
Yep, this is pretty accurate, although I can pretty much guarantee I will not miss painting trim, haha.
As sad as I am to leave this house after all we've done, there is a tiny part of me that is kind of glad we'll be renting in VA, b/c I will feel no obligation whatsoever to 'fix up' the house, and we can devote all our free time and extra $ elsewhere.
eta: knowing myself, however, by the time we are done there I'll have the itch to personalize and fix-up again Hopefully we'll be able to come back here and buy again.
I've had 3 drafts and they disappear!?! So this is from memory: kleigh, I hate spanx, they always rolled up on me! I really dislike that they use models who obviously don't need their products. I'm wondering about waist training, I've only seen Kardashians push it and I don't trust them! danib, glad you're ok! Are you due for the Nor'easter the east coast is supposed to get?
Does having a hard time with naps count as a regression because if so my baby is trying to keep up! Also gas is preventing the good sleeps!
sophiegrace Celine is back at ILs. My little SIL was missing her and they claimed that the other dog got more depressed when she left so we let her go back there and then we take her sometimes on weekends, we were there for 1.5yrs so although I know she misses us I think she feels like that's home even more than our house (since the house was redone and she hasn't lived in it, and plus new babies). She does just fine if I could just get her to shut her yapper during nap times.
goldenlove3 Yeah, thank you though. I already consistently give them a full bottle but I just can't get them to take it. My sister is like, well then just make the wait longer in between and let them cry - I would feel horrrrrrible. But I think they've just got a bad habit right now of nibbling and never really eating a full amount. I'm just letting it ride at the moment hoping that when we add oatmeal and fruits/veggies that they'll adjust themselves.
starbuck27 Thank you for the pitcher idea. We currently do not warm formula (never have) so we'd have to just get in the habit of warming it to at least room temp which is NBD I suppose. My neighbor (the one watching them 2x a week) also recommended this - she said for her one daughter who had reflux she would blend the formula and let it sit in the fridge to settle and it got rid of a ton of air so we considered trying it anyway. I just wish they would space out their damn feedings already !!!!
At their 4 month pedi appt on Friday the dr brought it up and said to go ahead and start. We are in no rush, I bought some oatmeal cereal but haven't touched it - wouldn't even know what to do with it. We somewhat considered BLW, you did it with W right? Would you do it again? But really I'm considering starting the oatmeal to see if it makes *any* difference in their eating or sleeping. Like I am all for letting them dictate to me what they want and need, but I do have a feeling we are just in a bad habit here / they CAN take more bc they do sometimes, they just wont be consistent with it.. They just nibble instead.
I agree with everything starbuck27 said about BLW. The only thing I would add, and this is for any baby especially when they start trying to feed themselves, instead of stripping down for every meal, we used these IKEA smocks. Used them until almost 2 yrs old. Saved a lot of clothes and time.
