So beautiful. Seriously! 12lb of baby- that's not easy girl! Rest up! Also remember to walk as much as possible (it hurts, but will get easier) and take those stool softeners! It could be the pain meds making you drowsy. Can you see if they could cut the dose? When I had my sections, they ordered 2 percocets, but I'd just take 1 and also took ibuprofen (and toradol IV, but that was just the first 24hrs) and that seemed to be enough. Gas pains are bad too (usually up in your shoulder/neck is where you feel them). I got simethicone and found that going for walks helped with that too.
Seriously they are so perfect. Are they identical? I can't remember!
We got released yesterday! Celia did lose 9% of her birth weight, so I have an appointment with her pedi in this morning. I've been practicing more focused feeds with her and hope it will result in some weight gain. All three girls are doing well otherwise. Charlotte loves to give kisses and I love the interest she has in getting close to watch them nurse. Dogters are curious and protective, just like they are with C.
We're not 100% sure if the girls are identical. There's a very small chance that it was one fertilized egg that split for di/di twins (2 sacs/2 placentas). They look more and more alike every hour, and the only way we've been able to tell them apart is by an ever-lightening bruise/birthmark on CC's forehead. If physical differences don't become more obvious in the next few months, DH and I will get them tested.
