I'm pregnant still. Have a bad cold but yet here I am at work. Tomorrow we are supposed to get 10 inches of snow. I think I am going to have a fuck it day tomorrow. Clara has a dentist appointment tomorrow morning but I don't think I will be going.

Quinstar I was there with ds and am nervous about taking dd to get weighed today because of it. Are you bf'ing or formula feeding? If you are bf'ing, just know that it is completely normal for a breastfed baby to experience jaundice issues. Hopefully your pedi has resources available to you to hell you guys get on the right track.

Im BF but had to supplement with formula, we're working our way to jusr BF. They said about 60% of babies have some jaundice, so Im not excessively worried, it's just another thing on the list of stuff this guys been through.
The doctor actually almost kept us in the hospital because she thought his levels were high for a 2 day old... they were, but he's a 3 day old lol. She didnt realize that. So I think going back is just a precaution/1 week visit already. But they are going to weigh him, and after all his blood sugar stuff, they're watching his weight really carefully.
It feels like one mistake, and they'll snap him right back. It sorta looms over you.
Quinstar I liked because I get it. DD was supposed to come home with me, and then I messed up a feeding. (She didn't eat enough) She ended up staying 3 days after that, although after day 1 it was mostly for jaundice.
The handsfree pumping bra has been a major game changer over here. 👍I just got a bunch of thank you cards done WHILE pumping!
I bit the bullet and order one online yesterday. I can't wait for it to come. Baby in one arm and the other hand holding the pump is just not a long term solution for me!

For a free pumping bra option if you don't care how doofy you look, you can cut holes in a sports bra. Great in a pinch or if you aren't pumping very often!
You have to take it on/off over your head, which is a PITA for pumping anywhere other than your house, though. If I were pumping at work I'd get a real one.

Did this. In the hospital. It takes 3 hands to maneuver those bad boys without a bra.
Yesterday I was so achy. Hips hurt, bh contractions, back hurt etc etc. It was a full moon. I know some people say it's an old wives tale. I was feeling lots of things though.
Today NST, visit with doctor, get the details about Thursdays induction!
Studies say no correlation; medical and teaching professionals say "we know how legends of werewolves came to be."

At the hospital! Doc confirmed fluid. Went from 1cm to 3 1/2 cm since Friday! They monitor me at first for contractions and if much isn't going on, they'll start pitocin! Ahhh!
Final countdown for me until my test on Thursday! I'm getting so anxious. I should REALLY be studying right now. I'm spending all day today studying, then all day tomorrow, then Wednesday off (and my MIL gets here) then Thursday test day! Then I can finally settle down before baby. Hoping it all goes in that order.
Quinstar LT for solidarity. I understand. They kept telling me that L would be out of NICU and in our room over and over and each time they ended up deciding to keep her longer. Originally she was there for her oxygen levels and retained mucous but she stayed as long as she did because of low blood sugar. She didn't get released to us until we were all able to leave. I was terrified they'd discharge me and keep her. When we went back for blood work 2 days later I was scared all over again.
This may sound weird but L didn't really feel like she was *mine* until after her 2 day check up with the NICU. It was like getting permission to be her mom for real now.
All that rambling to say, you're not alone in how you feel and it is definitely difficult. I hope your LO gets a clean bill of health and you can begin to let go of the worry.
