Omg so tired! In a huge stroke of luck, I have nothing major on my schedule for today, so don't have to rush. But so so tired. Off to shower now. I'm also hearing about getting a dumping of snow tonight/tomorrow. Hoping for a snow day tbh!

I unplugged most of the weekend. Things are rocky. But it is what it is.
DS woke up with his eyelid completely swollen like a bee stung it. No crust, no red eye, nothing. Just a swollen almost shut upper eyelid. It was controlled with benadryl, so he's obviously having a reaction to something. What, I don't know, because we haven't changed ANYTHING.
We thought it was maybe the milk because he was getting bumps on Saturday after he had his cups, but we cut it out completely yesterday to see, and he still got them.
If it happens again today, we will be making an allergist appointment to do another panel on him. Just when we thought we were finally in the clear after growing out of his wheat allergy.
Sorry about the snow for you all - today here is wet and mid 70's. I think we might go down to like the 40's at some point this week but yea, no snow for us.
Ewww to all of the snow. I made a smart move to take today off. He went down at 8:30 and we just got up. I bought the wrong dye so I never posted, @betweenthelines. It's still not what I really wanted but I like it enough.
@betweenthelines glad you could unplug some. Sorry about YS eye.
Thanks. Seems to be better today. after going all day yesterday with no milk, we are reintroducing it this morning to see if the bumps/any swelling comes back.
This morning is rough. Time change + subway delays. I'm tired and late. And there's a furry on the train. (Adult dressed in a fetish stuffed animal costume.)
@mrspanpan, don't wake a sleeping kid!!! might be a growth spurt so he needs the extra zzzz's.
th3stryck3r, the things i learn from this group - a furry huh? so strange. and so early in the day to be dressed up. unless they are still out from the night before. i never knew that was a thing. huh.
@betweenthelines, will you still be sending the LO's to daycare? Because if so, that would really make it a nice vacation day.
Unfortunately I won't be. They will most likely shut daycare for the day with the amount of snow they're calling for. We are under a blizzard warning as of midnight tonight.
A few years ago we camped at Bonnaroo with some people who did the furry get up. It was entertaining to watch them get geared up for the night. That's just way too much work for me.
