mrstommyshelby I'm due 9/29 or 10/1 depending on who you ask and I think most of mine is bloat still. I didn't show until closer to 18 weeks last time.

mrstommyshelby, I'm thinking we probably need to be more around 14-16 weeks before the bump is made up of some baby and not just bloat. I think I remember an image floating around that showed that the uterus isn't outside of the pelvic bone region until after 12 weeks.
This happens to me all the time. Someone else cuts corners to do less work and then I have to work 5x times harder to clean up their mess. I'm very uncool about it. I feel you!
Like, I get that sometimes people fuck up. I do, too. But then own that fuck up. Come up with a solution. Don't say, "Well, you need to do something about it," and leave me standing there like an idiot. No. I'm sorry. This mess is currently a mess because of what YOU DID/FAILED TO DO. YOU make it right, not fucking me. I have other shit that needs to be worked out.
Word. People are not as smart as we are. And by we, I mean every single person on the O17 board. Geniuses!

Girl, same. Just got done shopping DS's summer wardrobe, now I'm catching up here. I might do some actual work around 2pm.
I just scheduled one conference call and felt a rush of accomplishment. Hard days work over here. Tomorrow will be the day I get back to my usual level of productivity.
Along the lines o f CoachTsWife 's post, I'm having a hard time with clothes when I have to leave the house. Pants fit in the morning but the button's too tight by the end of the day.
I find myself wishing I was starting to show. I know I'm going to curse this thought down the road but does anyone else feel this way? Do any of the earlier Oct EDD moms have a little real bump yet? I can't remember when I started showing the other times.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I was really tempted to unbutton my pants at the end of the day. I know it's just bloat, but it is so uncomfortable. I wish it were warmer so I could switch to dresses.

What was on my shopping list: Salsa, dish soap, ice cream, beer for DH.
What I came home with: Salsa, dish soap, beer, ice cream, magic shell chocolate sauce (omg have not had in years and so EXCITE), and two kinds of chocolate cereal. Oh, and a kombucha because I'm #healthy.

Pretty much how I grocery shopped this weekend. DH was like "what are we eating for dinner this week?" Don't know, don't care but everything I got looked good and I could stomach the thought of eating it at the time. He may have to take over shopping if he wants real food next week.

DH keeps saying that I can't hide it much longer. When he hugged me today he said my belly felt different, like more firm? I still say it's bloat and/or left over baby weight from DS. However, my jeans still fit well, though they do have a good bit of stretch to them.

I kept some notes from my last pregnancy and apparently I didn't start showing until week 13. I'm paranoid that people are starting to notice my blump already and may start speculating. I won't be ready to share the news until at least week 12.

You need to come back and report on the Magic Shell! Is it as good as I'm remembering?

Thanks to Rama's mention of grapefruit a few days ago, I just inhaled a 10pm bedtime snack. Was delish.
So jealous of anyone with snow days though I hope you all stay safe! In south GA, we go into a state of emergency just at the forecast of a snow flurry so I can't even imagine the level of snow coming through for y'all now.
Also, this is important, I found tropical sour patch kids!!!! Just in time to get snowed in with them! However, I had no appetite to try them tonight (see post above )

mrstommyshelby, I already have a bump and a blump! My 2 fibroids plus baby has caused my ute to pop out much much earlier. A couple of weeks ago I started putting on my post partem pregnancy pants ( they were 1 size up from my normal ) and that was so comfortable and this weekend I busted out my maternity clothing and bra. No tops yet but so much more comfortable with pants. I dont have to unbutton whilst driving!

Also wanted to add. Thank god it's winter and thank god for ponchos and capes! so no one is the wiser since I am very much a poncho & cape type gal and drapey sweaters are part of my fashion or unfashion wardrobe. They're comfy and cozy!
Rama and Rachel with the different tags - I've never, not once, had grapefruit. Not even the juice! Closest thing I've had is the LaCroix.
snip
Surprise, surprise - I've never had LaCroix, in any flavor. You must try grapefruit! I prefer pink or red, but I think Rama (or someone else) mentioned white.
I left my second breakfast at home and all I have is what I brought for lunch - a red baron pepperoni personal pizza. All of my food options are shut down since it's spring break so there is a 99% chance I eat the pizza for my second breakfast and then go somewhere for my lunch break.
Well, snow day is mostly a bust for us. We were supposed to have several inches of snow by now, but we have mayyybe an inch. The rain/snow line moved farther north so now we are getting mostly mixed precip. Gross!
