It's not even 8 AM and the toddler is already asking to "go do some fun." I just want to curl up on the couch and pass out. I'll probably take him to the gym to get some energy worked out of him. Aaaand I think H will have an early day!

Super late to this, but you can make magic shell! I just melt some coconut oil and chocolate chips together, add a bit of vanilla extract. When warm it is runny but soon after it hits the cold ice cream it solidifies. YUM!!
@moonandback141, I had a nasty ear infection last month and took amoxicillin and tylenol (also had a fever). My doctor was totally okay with me taking both.
@moonandback141, Girlfriend! I have been following your sickness saga. Please continue taking Tylenol and RELAX! Tylenol is on all OB approved meds lists. Your fever isn't even that high. You have a cold and/or the flu. Rest your body, stop worrying, stop Googling, everything will be ok
mrstommyshelby when you had your fever and needed Tylenol, was it in first tri?
Early second tri. You will learn this about me but I am a total germ freak. It's annoying and I try to hide it when at all possible but I do a ton of research on viruses and incubation periods and contagious periods etc.
To me it sounds like you have a cold. I would be shocked to learn you have the seasonal flu. I have personally had it (14 years ago, still remember how awful I felt) and my husband is getting over it and you cannot move. You feel like you have never been so sick in your life. Your fever would be much higher. You wouldn't be typing. My H's phone was dead for 2 days and he didn't even want the charger and he is an obsessive phone looker. One of those annoying people that walks and looks at his phone and he was so sick he wasn't opening his eyes for that long.
Plus - I was just at the pedi because DS1 has a fever and I was panicking (flu and strep neg for him - yay small victories) and she told me that it's the H1N1 (a strand of Flu A) that is most dangerous to pregnant women. It's not all flus or even all Flu A's.
You are pregnant and you likely have a cold. You are probably one of a million women in the world at this moment in the same situation. Ok, I'm bad a at number estimating and this could be way off but you get what I am saying.
I can be obsessive so I get you but you should do your best to relax. Stressing will not make your cold go away. Stressing will increase your temp, weaken your immune system and lengthen the duration of your cold. Put on a good show and veg out. If you need recs I will give you a million.

I hope all of the sick O17ers and their families feel better soon. My FB timeline is filled with strep/flu/stomach virus right now. ::insert Sheldon Cooper Lysol meme::
DD has her 15 month checkup tomorrow afternoon and I had planned to work half a day. I just suddenly decided to take the whole day off instead, basically just taking a personal day. I have literally never done that so part of me feels a little guilty but part of me says screw it, I deserve it.

@moonandback141 & thechickencoop Thanks ladies. He didn't puke anymore during the night, but I was up 3x with him. H stayed home from work today, which has been nice. DS still won't eat, but has had some water this morning. He is definitely not himself today, but I'm hoping he feels better after a good nap this afternoon.
I hope everyone feels better! It sucks when you can't take the normal medications.
My husband just got diagnosed with the flu this morning after I begged him to go to the doctor. I'm praying I haven't caught it already.
This was me. I *think* the boys and I made it unscathed. It's possible. I made my H sleep in a different room. When he was able to get up I had him use alcohol based hand sanitzer first before he touched anything. Lysol city too. Good luck!

I have been trying to submit a disbursement authorization for a few weeks now, but I didn't have the FEIN to complete the paperwork. The vendor finally emailed me back today, apologizing for the delay, going on to explain that "no one knew what a FEIN# was" so she hoped what she sent was correct.

I might have caught something. Headache, weakness, general baditude. I feel awful. :(
Blech. Are you able to stay home today and rest up? I hope you feel better.
I've already been at work for a good four-five hours. I've decided to go home, but I have to wait for someone to come get me because we only have one car. :(

Sending everyone heathy vibes, on top of my pregnancy symptoms I've been sick since I found out I was pregnant so I can sympathize.
My in laws are moving across the country and I'm helping them sell a bunch of things online. People are crazy. It's been such a pain to coordinate with them to get people to pick up their stuff.
