Brian had his second bath today because he pooped during a diaper change. I did not pack enough blankets/burp cloths for my stay at my moms, and I need smaller socks and another pair of zip up coveralls for him. I only have one pair and he keeps peeing on them, but none of his other clothes.
Baths sort of require a lot of organization. We need practice lol

@justinslovo for some reason, Max's little butt sticks to the Up &Up diapers if he has a little poop. I have to use a little diaper cream every time or he gets a really raw rash. He didn't stick to the Huggies, but started leaking out of them pretty quickly.

The baby has managed to catch me out during diapers changes twice today. Earlier she peed while I was putting the new diaper down and got her footie soaked, then pooed in the next diaper as I was putting it on. I put a disposable liner under her and we had some diaper free time until she pooed again and I could finally dress her. We're on outfit #4 now because she pulled the same pee trick on two others.
I'm here. Ready for people to stop visiting. I know that sounds terrible but they always manage to come between DD's sleeps and then complain that she's asleep.

She's 8 days old, they don't do much. Sorry fam.
I never understand this. Newborns sleep, eat, and poop. Sleeping is the best time to visit, sheesh.
I might have to actually put signs on my door saying to call ahead of time if they want to visit. We live in a central area and people have been known to just "stop by". DNW random visitors when I'm a hot mess and having the dog bark like crazy and cause tons of chaos.

Do it. Seriously.
Back from my appointment and I'm group b positive this time. I hate IVs so I'm wrapping my head around having one in even though it can be a hep lock and not hooked up the whole time. I'll need to go in earlier than planned too since ideally I'll have the antibiotics done at least 4 hours before birth. Last time active labor and pushing combined were only about 4 hours so I'm a bit worried about how it's all going to work. Because if you ever feel confident as a parent something has to come up to throw a wrench in things.
