Yeah it was really traumatic. The whole experience. I had some horrrrrrrrrible nurses and doctors. I'm hoping for a much better one this time.
Are you going to a different place this time? The hospital where I grew up was known for being just awful. People would drive an hour away with some pretty serious issues to go to a different one.

Yep. The crazy thing is that the place where I had her is known to be an amazing hospital. In a very nice place in Seattle. Oh well. I live across the country now... so here's hoping this one will be better.

That's good. I think that hospitals are getting better and better in the maternity wards now that there are other options popping up (birthing centers and such). They are finding that treating women like mothers instead of sick weaklings and treating birth like a natural process instead of a medical procedure works out much better for everyone involved.

To jump into the bellybutton talk... mine is so out. It been out since about 8 weeks or just before. I had the best innie before my first pregnancy. Then it was a bit more shallow. Now I'm afraid it's going to be just barely and innie after this time.

Also, I was just checking in on the March board. Those that have had their babies already are talking all about the night sweats and emotions. I forgot all about those joys we have to look forward to.

OMG the night sweats were terrible. I think I slept on a towel it was so bad. And now I have go through it in July!
27 minutes!! Apparently the bus driver decided to make a seating chart and it made them late... really?? I was so upset. So were all the other parents waiting around like there is nothing else to do in our lives.

So I ended up in L&D today. Literally exact same that happened to MissSally last week. Copy/paste her story, but add that we also had intercourse this morning which led to additional irritation.
Waiting on discharge papers then heading home and starting antibiotics.
The midwife on call also said my cervix was really soft but said I shouldn't worry about that part...?

Scary!! Glad things are ok and hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.

Me too! I thought what I was feeling were BH, but they got worse throughout the day and moved into my back. I think I'm going to chill at home tomorrow...

I think that is a very good idea! Feet up and snuggled with your adorable pooch!
akraus2015, yikes!! I'm glad they've got you on track to be fixed, but so scary!! Take care of yourself, I definitely think you should spend some time at home and relaxing.
I'm so glad you're ok akraus2015!! And also weird that this has now happened to three of us. My heat pad has been my best friend for the last week. And I've found that if I overdo it the cramps start to come back. So rest up!!! Let's keep these babies on the inside for a while yet.

Re: night sweats. I'm making DH and his dad install a ceiling fan over our bed. I think I had night sweats for at least six months, probably more like a year...
akraus2015 I'm glad you went in and are getting the meds!! I had never heard of this happening before, i can't believe two of you had this happen!

I think it's 3 actually! I can't remember who else but someone else on our BMB had a similar experience.

akraus2015, hope you start to feel better soon! My L&D department was super nice to me when I went in. I was glad they didn't make me feel like a crazy person!

Yes they were really nice to me too and kept reassuring me that I did the right thing by calling.
