Hi ladies! Checking in with an update. We were able to bring Evie home yesterday. She came home at 4lb 6oz. She's doing pretty well. Harper is still at the hospital. She is down to 4lb 8oz and is still spitting up almost all of what she eats. They are running abdominal X-rays on her today to see if something is going on. The feeding schedule is killing us. We are breastfeeding Evie as well as supplementing with formula in a cup. She is hard to keep awake for a feeding so just one session takes about an hour and a half. I am also pumping breastmilk to take to Harper. So I feel like all I do is feed and my boobs HURT. We are adjusting to life with one preemie baby but my heart is broken that it looks like Harper won't be coming home anytime soon. I'm guessing they'll put a feeding tube in at some point today because of the spit up.
Sending love and positivity your way. Hopefully Harper comes home soon and your boobs adjust.
Hahah, I just like to scare people. At least hCG isn't indicative of the number of babies you have. I hope you have exactly as many as you want in there! Some of my friends on my loss BMB had singletons with high betas, so it's not s sure thing for multiples. :)
Singleton is the preference, but we'd be plenty happy with two
LadyNymeriamarshian the rest of the house is Cold Morning by Dunn Edwards so that's my fall back. I'm thinking maybe a green or a blue-green. But open to whatever goes with the "modern" bathroom vibe.
My entire house is greens, blues, and green/blue grays. Let me find the names of the colors.
The beginning is crazy hard even without your extra challenging circumstances mustloveerica. You're doing great and it will get easier. Hoping you can all be home together soon!
I wish I had a WFH option. All of my work is physically done, so not being here is the problem.
We have never been offered a work from home option. We don't have full access to our systems so it's really just troubleshooting and customer service until we get into the offices tomorrow.

mustloveerica I'm sorry to hear Harper is still at the hospital. I hope she justs needs a little more time and starts being more awake to eat. Take care of yourself and Evie!
Just nursed in a carrier for the first time ever. Hip carry worn below the bump may not be comfy, but it is ideal for bf. Of course as soon as she latched the dog pooped so I got to squat to pick up after him which I'm sure looked very graceful.

Yeah, half of my job is stuff like sending out our payments, sorting incoming mail, stuff like that. I could probably do the other half as long as there weren't too many issues, but there are always issues. I can't fix a copier from my house. :( Or confirm inventory. It's not ideal.

mustloveerica sorry that H is having a hard go, I hope she starts eating and gaining weight and they can figure out the spitting up. I'm glad E could come home, though! Hope the feeding gets easier all the way around, it sounds rough! Hang in there!! Hugs!

*hugs* I'm so sorry. I hope H turns a corner this week and is able to come home sooner than you think. Have you gotten anymore information on her hearing?
No well go to an audiologist later on. She is super mucusy in her nose and throat so it's possible her ears are also full of fluid. Her belly is also possibly full of mucus which is causing the spit up. She does startle sometimes so I feel she may have some hearing.

Big hugs. I'm glad E was able to come home and I hope things improve with H quickly so she's not stuck in the hospital too much longer. You are doing an amazing job providing for 2 little ones!! Sending lots of love your way.
ourcrazynavylife Those are all gorgeous. I would pick the wall color based on whichever art you use. My favorites would be the first two, so I'd probably lean toward a bluish (blue-grey?) wall color.
Lots of hugs mustloveerica I'm glad E was able to come home and hope H can join you guys soon. I can't even imagine being pulled in so many directions. DS had weight difficulties... well pretty much forever (his 9 month appointment is the FIRST time I received a "gold starl for his weight) and that newborn schedule with feedings is a killer. It takes so long for them to eat it's practically time to start all over
Thank you for taking the time to update us. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers! ❤❤

ourcrazynavylife I like the couple and the first one. I think a light gray color on the walls with maybe just a touch of blue would look great with your tiles and the art colors.

Here's a small update... DS has been able to crawl for ages but really wouldn't unless he absolutely had to. He preferred to roll or scoot on his back. I was anxious but the doctor assured me that it is more to do with his stubbornness because he CAN but is choosing not to.
Well two days ago he discovered crawling works so much better so now he crawls everywhere. Today I asked him to "come here" and held my arms out and he dropped what he was doing and crawled over me going "mama mama mama" heart melt. ❤
teraiin DS1 was like that as well... these stubborn babies!
he's a perfectionist baby and wouldn't do anything until he was certain he could do it perfectly (he didn't attempt to roll until 5ish months, crawled at 9m, and didn't even attempt to take a step until he walked across the room at almost 14m)
