My view looks a lot like yours LadyNymeria and onesweetworld we only have about 6" but it's blowing like crazy!! Tried to attach a pic but it wouldn't upload.
We just lost power for the first time and it took Internet a long time to come back...was hoping it wouldn't do no more work today! Luckily on the power front we live on the main street in town with the police station and fire station so it doesn't usually go out for long.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I took Benadryl last night and woke up with a chip on my shoulder. Does that happen to anyone else? It like makes me angry if I don't sleep a full eight hours. We just had a fire drill and it was super hot. It's like 80 something degrees. Booooo.
I think I'm going to get a burrito for lunch to make myself feel better.
If I don't get enough sleep after taking Benadryl I am miserable and in a bad mood. I'm convinced you have to really sleep it off.
ourcrazynavylife - Do you want to stick with Dunn Edwards? Here are some colors I was drawn to in the green/blue-green family. With the art you are looking at, you could go more blue-green to tie it all in or if you go more green the art will pop more with the blue. I think either way would work.

I am not jealous of the snow so many of you have, but I am a little jealous of those of you who have snow days. Something so cozy about that first day after a snowstorm.
ThankfulSnail - While snow is falling and that morning when you wake up after a significant snowfall is definitely magical. And cozy.
Sadly I had to go into the office for a few important meetings, but I should have stayed home. They slacked off on clearing roads so the bus never came, which meant I trudged to the train instead and no one had shoveled or salted by 9am. Ridiculous. I don't do well on the packed snow/ice even with snow boots while not pregnant, so I'm terrified of slipping now.

marshian, being from MN I definitely understand the woes of having to go out in the yuck and work after a big storm. No fun at all. But on the weekend or if it's bad enough that I get to stay home, it's a pretty nice feeling. Sorry you had to deal with all that this morning, hope your commute home isn't so bad.

@xamountofwords - Sounds like a nice lunch! Enjoy being able to eat all the food you want while you can. I get super hungry now and eat a little and feel full. It's... disappointing. I'm trying to remind myself to spread it out and just keep snacking all day but sometimes I just want to put more food in right now but there's no room!

I'm so sad that my kids will probably never get to experience a snow day. Those are some of my favorite memories from my childhood in NY. Hurricane days are just not the same because no one (in their right mind) wants to go out and play in the middle of a hurricane.
Lunch was homemade minestrone-esque soup. I heated up a big bowl and then ate 1/4 of it. *sigh*. Now snacking on lentil chips from NatureBox. Also slowly working on a homemade oatmeal cream pie.

I never had a snow day as a kid. I grew up in FL (lived there through college). It's super fun to get them now as a adult, even though I have to work from home during it.
Hurricane days were always a joke to us, at least in the Tampa area. The hurricanes never hit directly and almost every time school was out for it in high school we all went to the beach and it was a glorious day.
The one time it wasn't as fun was in college (I want to say Labor Day 2004) when we had two tropical storms back-to-back and my family did lose power and there was flooding near us (but not in our house). Even then my aunt, uncle, and young cousins spent two days with us because they lost power before we did and we all played games and chilled.

Ugh, same! When I sit down for dinner with H, he thinks I'm not eating hardly anything and it worries him, but he doesn't see the 2848201 other times during the day that I have to eat. I'm still eating a lot, I just can't have a lot at one time these days.
We don't get snow days, rain days, storm days, anything days in SoCal. They do put us on sports practice/recess cancellations for hot weather. But that's about it.

marshian, I have lived on the east central coast of FL since I was 12 and we've been hit a few times, though mostly when I was an adult. Our schools here like to wait until the last minute to cancel so usually when it's cancelled for a hurricane, we're going to be impacted. And then they often tack on the day(s) off on to the end of the school year.
sleepymonkey - East coast definitely gets hit more often. Our school district liked to call it really early, which was so silly. And we had to make it up at the end, which ticked off everyone because they built in a set number of hurricane days into the schedule already.
