dashook Sorry I forgot yesterday! Week 7, here we go!
Girl, no worries!
I did 43 and 44 yesterday. Fit test today and I'll probably do a Jillian Michaels DVD too. That way I can know I've earned the snow day wine I plan to have later.
Speed squats - 57 (+4) Pushups - 25 (+2) Mountain climbers - 82 (+5) Lunge right - 48 (+7) Lunge left - 53 (+10) High knees - 74 (+63) Tricep dips - 43 (-7, boo) Plank - 60 seconds (I've decided to try to extend this by at least 10 seconds every two weeks since the :50 isn't challenging anymore)
Did I say I was going to do a DVD too? That may have been over ambitious haha!
@peachsmama how are you doing? Day 45 means halfway through!!
I'm going to do 43 and 44 tonight. And the fit test on Wednesday. A friend of mine does a 2 minute plank twice a day and her abs are amazing. Obviously not all she does but I'm shooting for that goal by like summer.
Great job on the fit test. Are you also doing weight and measurements each time dashook?
That's a really good goal. Something I can shoot for as well! Even though the blizzard outside suggests otherwise, summer is really not far off.
I'm not doing weight and measurements each time but maybe for Day 60 I will. Though I wish I'd done it from the outset, I only took measurements for the first time last Wednesday so too recently to note any change. I can tell you that the scale hasn't budged in like 2 months lol.
Days 46, 47, and 48 are done! Just to make sure I'm not crazy--there is no difference whatsoever between pogo hops and fake jumprope, except that in the jumprope one you make little T-rex arm circles, right?
Yesterday was an unplanned rest day, as my kids were being atrocious demons all day. I got one break when they were both napping and I chose to use it to nap myself instead of working out. I think it was the right move.
Since Week 7 is done for me, I'll probably do some sort of DVD tomorrow and then Saturday is Orangetheory! Overall, a pretty good week.
