I'm sticking with my schedule of 6 HIIT workouts per week (a combination of BBM 6.0 and Mommy Trainer workouts). Unfortunately I can't go to my normal Orangetheory class this week because my nanny is out of town and I have no one to watch the kids. But I talked to DH about going Saturday morning and he's on board! I'm sure it'll be super crowded but I'm still so excited. I looooove Orangetheory!
I did the day 45 fit test for BBM yesterday and all of my numbers increased, except for tricep dips, which I attribute to my shoulder, which continues to hurt during that move as well as push-ups. It's bad today so hopefully it doesn't affect my workout too badly.
And, I have decided I am going to weigh myself again on Monday (even though Sunday is a rest day) so hopefully that will motivate me to keep my calories in check this weekend (especially Saturday at the Irish pub!).
Maybe St. Patty's Day isn't the best day to post this, but...
How did everyone do this week?
I had a decent week, except for an unplanned rest day on Wednesday when my kids wouldn't give me a moment's peace. I'm doing Orangetheory tomorrow morning at 9:30 so good motivation not to drink too much tonight, much as I want to.
Also I started a new mommy and fitness related IG account today, which I'm excited about!

I'm still doing BBM. I'm a day behind right now but I'm planning on doubling up tomorrow to get caught up. I kind of went off the rails with eating since I went back to work. It's just so easy to hit up the food trucks or delivery service. But I'm going to meal prep on Sunday and get together lunches for next week.

High five ClassyMrsA!!! You wasted no time getting back to it. I feel like we need a week off like that occasionally to refresh ourselves. I know it's supposed to be a lifestyle and not a diet, but it's a lot of work!
The underside of my forearms is sore today from Orangetheory yesterday. Weird. Maybe from rowing?
That'll do it. Anything that would have required you to grip something hard for any amount of time really works that area. I hate that feeling. Most other muscle soreness makes me feel good, like I know I did something, but the forearms bother me.

Yeah exactly! It almost feels like the tendons are sore, not a muscle. We did a bunch of rowing on the machines and also the TRX ropes yesterday so I'm chalking it up to that.

If it keeps happening and you get sick of it I recommend getting some Versa Gripps. They offload a lot of the hand/forearm grip strength and allow to to put all the work into the muscles you're actually trying to work. I use them anytime I'm working on my back since that's always that pulling motion. I rowed once without them and I'll never do it again!

I want to remember to take pictures this Wednesday (20 weeks). I think my body just got the memo that I've been working out and eating somewhat decently.

Nice!!
I'm taking measurements on Wednesday...
I wish I would have done that! I don't trust he scale. Too much switching around of water/fat/muscle weight. I should just throw a pair of jeans in the dryer to give me a better idea.
ETA: I really hope you're happy with your measurements so far. You've been so motivating these past few months!

Thanks girl! I can't with the scale. That's why I decided to do measurements. I wish I'd done some back in January because I can see a lot of changes, especially in my arms and thighs, but better late than never.
