Taken Sunday at 26 weeks. I feel like huge by the end of the day. (No matter how much or little I eat.) I also feel like my belly button is trying to become an outie (and it kinda hurts sometimes) Photo bomb by C. Don't let it fool you though, he was not getting ready to rub my belly. He was trying to get my attention because he wanted me to change a movie downstairs for him. Poof
sabrinaml,I saw your pic before reading your caption and was like, OMG super sweet! I wish my DD would do that! LOL, glad to see it's just typical toddler behavior

Using this for randoms: my OB appt today was canceled because she was sick. Boo! I go next Wednesday and fortunately it was still able to be at 4:00 so I don't miss work. I was looking forward to hearing her today
You all look so cute! I am NOT a cute pregnant woman so I'm scared to show you ladies. MIL even said to me this week, "Oh wow. You are getting really big. Don't you still have a couple months to go?" Gee, thanks

WTF to your MIL. How rude.
My MIL and FIL have absolutely NO filter. Especially when it comes to appearance. It stung a little more than normal because it was right after my OB appointment and I had gained 11 pounds in 4 weeks. I was already feeling frustrated and down about my weight/appearance so that didn't help.
violetrose, same. I think a lot of it is that my body has gotten bigger with each pregnancy, and this is #3 - I know you're also expecting #3. I just went and bought some new maternity clothes because I'm tired of feeling crappy about how I look, and I figure we do still have a ways to go.
sdlaura- Buying new clothes definitely helps. I SAH so I have a hard time buying clothes for myself because usually I'm just hanging out at home with two toddlers so why do I need nice/new clothes? I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so I can treat myself to some cute dresses for when we are out and about. I don't want to spend more money on winter clothes when we are so close to being out of winter. I wish I were one of those women who loved being pregnant and felt beautiful. I feel my worst when pregnant

LOFT has some really great stuff right now - both maternity and sizing up in regular stuff. And if you use code LUCKY50 you get 50% off today. I bought a few of their ruffle shell tops and also the non maternity shirtail sweater. i sized up 2 sizes and its really comfortable, lightweight and flattering.
violetrose - Sorry you're feeling crappy. Definitely get some new summer clothes which make you feel great! It doesn't matter if you're home all day, you should feel good. Pregnancy is tough enough!

That's why I decided to spend some money on some more (inexpensive) clothes. It just sucks to not feel good about how you look, whether you work or SAH or whatever. And I didn't want to deal with that for 2+ more months. We have a Motherhood outlet here and they have a great sale section. Might be worth checking one out!

Timing this baby and my 1st matches up identical. So I don't have an excuse to go out and get some new clothes. I also feel guilty buying myself something g new to make me feel a little better. I didn't have this issue with my 1st pregnancy. But this time around I feel huge and very unattractive. 9 times out of 10 I'm either in a shirt with my black zip up fleece over it or a tank top with one of my baggy hoodies. Very rarely do people actually get to see the bump.

violetrose, sorry your MIL said that and that you're not feeling good about your pregnancy body. I also hate how everyone thinks they can comment on your body since you're pregnant, good or bad comments!
DH and DD are up at my ILs (2.5 hours away) to celebrate his grandmother's birthday. I am at home to celebrate my Mom's birthday. I Facetimed with DD and MIL got on to tell me she bought me 3 boxes of GS cookies. My MIL is awesome!
