I felt like we spent half of our lives at the zoo when the big. It's were o's age. Let them walk and wear themselves out!
I'm pretty sure letting him walk wears me out more than it wears him out...what is the secret?
Hmm- well I figure zoos are pretty safe places so I did let them wander probably up to 20 yards away if they busted away. I follow their lead and I agree the squirrels and playgrounds are the highlight.
If you want time in the stroller bug a soft pretzel and keep doling it out in chunks- at least 30 minutes!
In my case, DS likes to ride "up high" on our shoulders, which gives us lots of time. He's above any crowds and we switch off, so it's not so bad on our backs. He's also still into the carrier, so I can quickly walk us through whatever he wants to see and still make it to the sea lions/playground/squirrels/etc., which is obviously the best part.
Nothing here...the daycare offers soccer but I think he has to be 3.
There is a Music and Arts Gymboree nearby that I might checkout.
yl seriously everything is weekday mornings! What's a working mom to do? The zoo has a bunch of programs and we are members so would get in free or discounted, but of course they are like Tuesday/Thursday's at 10am. sigh.
