I'm taking my first call of the day from my bed. Dog woke us up too early this morning because it was raining. I need one night of straight good sleep. Hopefully tonight.

I was waking up with crazy bad Charlie horses in my legs- like bad enough that I said something like, "No, oh ow ow ow!" and DH thought I was in labor, lol- at about 3:30 intermittently until my alarm went off at 5:30. Even standing/stretching/walking them off didn't help much. When I wasn't waking up from that, my cat was waking me up because he wanted fresh food. He had food in his dish that DH gave him last night, but it wasn't fresh.

H is home with DD today is is trying to do some cleaning. Cleaning is so foreign to him that he has already called 3 times with questions pertaining to the tasks. Like how does the steam mop/vacuum work and where do we keep the sponges. I think his secret goal is to annoy me enough that I just tell him to forget it and go have fun with DD. Not gonna happen buddy.

When I first read this, I thought it said you were taking the first call of the day from your dog.
Haha! Yes, my dog calls me all day long. She's so needy.

I'm going to a Miranda Lambert concert tonight with my 3 SILs. Country music is NMS so I know none of her music but it will still be fun to hang out with them. Plus the tickets were free through my work so no good excuse not to go.

Cool! Most country music is NMS but I do love Miranda, she has some great songs. Hope you have fun!

FFFC no one in my family wore green today. DH is not Irish, but I am (and DD is, then, too, I guess). DH's only green shirt has a beer logo on it, so no go for work. I wanted to fit in at the Miranda concert so I wore my black & white flannel. I realized this morning that DD owns zero green. The prepared mom with a cute little outfit for her kid for every holiday I am not.

ThankfulSnail I don't dress my kid in holiday themed outfits either. I might put him in a green shirt if we have one, but that's about it. I just don't want to waste money on some outfit that he's only going to wear once. At least with Christmas shirts he can wear them Nov-Feb. Maybe I'd have more feels if we were Irish, but we are Scottish/German/English sooooooo

I just realized by reading your FFFC I should be wearing green. Oops. But I'm WFH and no one will see me today, so oh well!
ThankfulSnail - That sounds miserable. At one point I woke up and went to turn over and my knee was achy. Like it had been stuck in a weird position too long. I don't think it was though. It went away when I moved it around for a few minutes, but it was odd. And last night and this morning my right elbow is bugging me. I just read a very timely article (from a daily pregnancy email) about feeling like an old lady with random aches and pains. Guess that's where I'm at? Ugh.

Exactly this. I don't even like to buy Christmas themed clothes because I feel weird putting her in them past 12/26.
I also do not understand buying someone else's child Christmas clothing or pajamas and giving it to said child for Christmas. My family does this every year, even when we're getting together on Christmas Day. When do you think my child is going to wear these 2 pairs Christmas pajamas that won't fit her next year?

BabyStandish, It's March and DS1 is still wearing his christmas pjs. He'll wear them until he outgrows them or it gets too warm.

HAHA DS might be wearing Christmas Pjs right now. I wear Christmas PJs all year long too and Christmas socks.

My DD is still wearing her 3 (3!!!) pairs of Christmas pjs, too. I just hate them. I like the idea of them for something to wear for Christmas eve while waiting for Santa but that's about it. But it feels like a waste not to keep them in the pajama rotation until the weather changes or she outgrows them.
