Another decent night in the books. I am currently eating a dunkins muffin and drinking coffee while sitting on DS1's pottery barn chair. I have outlawed eating on the new couch so this is the only way to eat a snack in the living room while also watching tv. Well, this chair or the floor. But I feel super cool sitting on this mini chair.
So our basement freezer somehow got unplugged enough to turn it off, thank God my breast milk wasn't in there. Good thing is that the meat was still really cold so I just have to cook it all today...ahh.
On my way to get my first haircut since last April, debating on how much to get cut off. Right now I'm sitting in the Starbucks drive Thru waiting for my flat white. I'm still fighting with my neck/back pain but glad to be without kids for a couple hours.

meeggaannw, enjoy your haircut! Hope you feel. Enter soon, that sucks.
I have energy and motivation but B keeps waking up when I put him down. I wrapped him and he just fussed and screamed. I suppose I'll watch some tv with a sleeping baby on my chest for a while. Could be worse, right?

@orangecrush, Ugh! We had that happen before but I'm glad things weren't ruined for you!
meeggaannw, I hope your haircut makes you feel better.
I started not feeling well at my parents last night. My lungs feel like they're borderline struggling, I have a mild headache, and my skin feels like everything that touches it is sandpaper. I hope this clears up soon.

opheliainwaders, good luck. If you manage to walk out of target without anything extra, let me know. I'll have to apprentice with you because Target gets me every time.
thelittleredm, I hope you feel better soon. So sorry you feel like crap.
I found stouffers mac and cheese in the freezer. It is literally my Achilles heel. I had no idea we had it. Good bye healthy eating, hello cheesy goodness.

^^ me right now. DH has taken DS1 swimming and MIL went to watch. FIL is tinkering with his cars and I'm enjoying the peace and quiet while trying to stay awake. Jet lag is rough...
Yikes @orangcrush, I'm glad your stash wasn't in there.
Yes to that mac&cheese heybulldog56. That was always my special treat when I went to my grandparents. I called it Grandma's mac&cheese 😂
Ds is eating all the raisins out of my Raisin Bran. I guess it makes it more healthy for me. Feeling kind of blah after a good week so that's a bummer. Doing the least today.

I woke up to a sore back this morning. H was up late with a real fussy E last night. It sucks. I too her this morning to the pedi for her last dose of synigist. Nanny interview later. Otherwise just relaxing.
Went to visit my dad in the hospital this morning because he had back surgery yesterday. He's doing pretty well and in good spirits.
We have a wedding tonight and MIL is doing bedtime for the two kiddos. Godspeed to her. Im 50/50 between anxiety over B having a crappy/nonexistent bedtime (and subsequent night) and feeling like whatev, everyone will live, might as we'll enjoy a nice dinner without someone hanging off me making a mess.
I got a rent the runway dress that was totally out of my normal style because I wanted to try something new and it looked like it would cover all my postpartum body insecurities. I think it'll look really nice!

We are over being landlords and considering selling everything. I'm tired of being stressed all the time. At least with a job we can go home at the end of the day

Ugh. I feel you. Some days I just want to throw in the towel too.
It's been such an awful season for sickness, feel better thelittleredm. rinny did you end up going to see the doctor? Hope you're finally on the mend.
We watched Doctor Strange after putting the kids to bed. I love a good low stress super hero movie. Pregnancy and motherhood seem to have ruined stressful movies for me.

So we met with the nanny who also watches my friend's kids sometimes. She was great but not available one of the days we would need her. Plus my friend is a teacher and is going back to work in September but she said I would have priority if I wanted her. I feel like I'd be stealing my friend's sitter, unless we combined our kids together. Not sure how I feel about that since the goal of a nanny is for her to get one on one time. I hope my interview with someone goes well tomorrow.
H is currently dealing with E trying to get her to sleep still...........
We've been listening to the moana soundtrack over here, I love it! Haven't seen the movie yet. I think DD is too young. I can't wait to watch movies with her.
peaseblossom55, how many kids does your friend have? If it's just one and the nanny is up to it, she should be able to do individual things as well as combined things? Also, maybe a win would be saving some on the nanny cost? Any more progress with the domperidon(sp?)
We had a pretty good day. Only issue was the last 2 days I worked from home but still had MIL come to help with C so I could actually get work done and she flat out refused to take a bottle. Yesterday I thought maybe the milk was old because it was 4 days, so we tried with fresh milk today and still no good. So now we have to get to the bottom of that. Tonight she's fussy and only sleeping in my arms. Going to try for the 4th time to put her to bed 🙄

We had my parents, Sil and 3 kids over for dinner tonight. I put ds down for a nap at 6 had he slept for 20 minutes. I've been trying to get him back to sleep ever since. We kept him in the nursery the entire time. Mh, sil, and I tried and tried to get him back to sleep. He had 2 bottles, continuously burped, diaper changed, and reswaddled. I sent mh to bed at 10 because he was so exhausted. Finally at 10:45 I walked him around the dark house to show him him everyone was gone. He fell asleep a few minutes later and has been sleeping in his bed for about 20 minutes. Is it really possible for my 11 week old to have FOMO?!? I sure do hope he is asleep because I just took a pain pill for my neck/back.
