The work I was supposed to do on campus today got cancelled due to fire alarm testing (strobe alarms and power tools are not a good combo) so I'm just working from home today. And tonight we're seeing Beauty and the Beast with some friends!

After leaving work early yesterday because I felt like death warmed over, I slept most of the afternoon. I feel much better today! Not too much going on here, just pretending to work for the next 8 hours and counting down to the weekend. We don't have much planned except for a bbq with DH's family tomorrow afternoon.

Here's a fun story.

So remember earlier this year I got served papers? But it wasn't me, someone with my name who trashed an apartment. I talked to the law firm and the put all kinds of notes that it wasn't me.

So the case was on the 15th, and there was suppose to be an arrest warrant out as of that date for me.

So last night, H and I are getting ready to go to bed around 9:30 and we looked outside our window and saw a car in front of our house.

And it was a sherif car with two sheriffs outside talking in our yard on the phone and stuff.

I about lost it.

They eventually left but I was pretty sure I was going to jail for awhile.

I stole H's last energy drink. For actually sleeping some last night I just got really tired.

We're going on a date night Sunday and I'm pretty excited. Though it's a little overshadowed by the fact that I'll barely be able to spend time with him other than that because he'll be streaming with his friends tonight and all day tomorrow. Not really happy about that but it makes him happy so I try to let it slide.
