The inside of my throat is better. The outside is tight, I guess due to the glue and healing. Still a little sore and I am very hoarse. But I am feeling better. It's amazing how getting sleep helps!!
shellyr and runningmommy519- I've been able to talk openly with her, so fortunately that's not a problem. I do hope I start to like her, I'm going to give it another month.
@janetheconquerer- sorry for being MIA during your surgery. I'm glad you're feeling better mama. Big hugs to you. I'm sorry if this has been discussed, but are you able to eat and drink? Peppermint tea is great for the throat. There is also this stuff called "throat coat" it's a tea, but amazing.

It's 10:40am and E is still asleep. He was awake from about 4ish to 5ish. H has been sitting in his room with the lights on for the last hour. Hopefully this means he's on the mend.

Finished the half! The last 3 miles were rough— my pace definitely slowed, but I ran the whole thing. Have now had a beer, a veggie burger and fries. Poppy is wearing my medal and won't give it up.

Ha! No it's not about BIL.
We were grocery shopping. DH was pushing the cart with both boys. Random guys asks if we have a boy and a girl. Nope. 2 boys (DS2 gets mistaken for a girl all the time- doesn't bother us). Random dude then says DS1 needs to get a hair cut. And proceeds to tell DH that it's ok to have 2 boys implying that we actually want DS1 to be a girl hence the hair.
It was a good think I was busy looking at bagels.
So we taught DS1 to say "I like my hair" should anyone tell him long hair is for girls.

skinandbones, I really can't believe the brazen rudeness of some people. That would have really annoyed me. And, it's 2017! *Newsflash* Boys and girls can both have short hair or long hair or anything in between, and none of it is really all that unusual!
We had a birthday party today, then went shopping for a new TV and also got a sound bar. Tuesday we are having DirecTV installed. Hoping we will be saving money like their numbers show. K is napping on me.

So DH drinks coffee black and super strong and I can't drink it. This morning DS grabbed the travel mug of cold coffee and sipped off the top of the lid and went "aaahhhhh" like after you have water when you are really thirsty. We are in trouble.
The ladies going out on dates tonight are inspiring me. My sister is willing to watch C so maybe I should go out too.
Definitely do it! I didn't realize how much I missed just being me and not "mom me" until ampaints watched w for our anniversary. It was mind blowing how good it was for me/us.

That's soon cute! I'm so impressed you ran the entire thing!
I've been Mia this weekend just spending time with the family and getting the house ready. H and I had a small bout of food poisoning yesterday (h's continues today). I'm getting my hair and eyebrows done today.
Everyone was late today! My eyebrows were 30 minutes late and my hair over 40 and then she kept having to pause because she wasn't feeling well. My hair and eyebrows look great but I almost missed bedtime because of it.

th3stryck3r huge congrats on your half! That is incredible! I keep thinking that I would like to take another learn to run (5km) class. I should have a look at the upcoming schedule. I have been so lazy and I blame it on being so busy with work, but I know if I was more active I would have more energy. (sorry that turned into a dear diary). I love the visual of P wearing your medal and not giving it up!! Lol
