Ridley was finally on a nap schedule and h completely ruined that for today. I hope it's just today and I can get her back on schedule when he's not here. I never knew how wonderful a schedule could be until she fell into one. Now I really don't want to lose it!
Nooooooo H does the same thing with us... of course the schedule is a hot mess when he's home because ds is obsessed with him. Which is cute but everyone (especially ds) has a better day when the bapnachedule is intact lol
Yeah, Ridley's usually the same way around h. She's been up sir going on three hours now, which is completely unheard-of around just me, and as soon as h went to get in the shower she lays down. Lol
So I just almost walked to the store without my wallet. Where is my brain?
Also, vent: When I walked our dog this morning, the doors of the elevator opened on the first floor and we went to get out but were rushed by this larger dog barely being contained by a kid. His dad was right behind him. Instead of them backing up so we could get out he just let the dog go at my (pretty small) dog. I had to put myself between the dogs and shove past them. Seriously people, let everyone off the elevator first! And you don't know my dog. What if she was aggressive? Get your dog out of her face! I was still half asleep so said nothing but gave the dad the death stare.
Ugh, annoying. I hated the elevator/stairwell dynamic when I lived in an apartment complex. Louis is leash aggressive and I was always terrified we'd run into another dog in the stairwell and he'd lose his shit. I tried to be a very considerate dog mom though, and sometimes we'd walk all the way back up a flight of stairs just so Lou wouldn't get too aggressive with another dog.

ourcrazynavylife agree on the black wedges!! ETA: whoops I see it's been decided (and I agree re:comfort!! I wore gold heels last night for about an hour, luckily if thrown flats in the car so I could change out. My heels days may be over).
BabyStandish I always call, my doc says always call...I am rh negative so they're especially concerned when there's any blood. But my doc said last time, let us know and make decisions so you don't have to worry and wonder yourself, that's what we're here for.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
I feel movement it started 3 days ago. It's so cool. I feel really confident that's what it is but also that I might sound crazy at 18 weeks.
BabyStandish I vote always call doctor. But hope it doesn't come back.
I had an anterior placenta and could randomly feel movement starting around then. Not solidly until closer to 20 weeks. I don't think you sound crazy at all. With Jackson I felt movement at like 16 weeks or something. I remember it was crazy early but it's pretty undeniable.

h is on a cleaning and organizing kick. We always lose something when he gets in these modes
This is literally my husband today. My kid is napping, I'm exhausted and just want to sit on the couch until she wakes up, and he keeps dragging me off the couch to help him like organize the basement and shit. Dude, that area is your problem. I'm busy gestating, leave me be to sit.

Hooray for movement!
I also had an anterior placenta and felt movement by 18 weeks. Don't doubt it, just enjoy it

So I know that I'm a crazy pregnant lady but my stapler was stolen by someone in my office. I know exactly who took it so I went over to his desk and took it back. He then tried to fight me over this god damn stapler. Seriously? Leave the pregnant hormone lady alone.

onesweetworld when I was in the ridiculous situation at my last job at one point my boss came out of a deposition and took my stapler and never returned it. I went into his office a day he was out and took it back. I, too, was living Office Space.

wannabmama - Isn't feeling them move the best?! I also hate the hungover feeling from staying out late completely sober.
I dropped off my very drunk friend last night...and yet somehow this morning she felt great!! I had to pound water and take Tylenol, ha!
(And yes to movement...it's crazy!! Especially the moment where I was like, I know that's the baby! Up until then I had been like, hmmm, is that gas? Is that nothing?)
That is the best moment ever. No more denying what you feel or wondering!!! It is for real!!

Someone at the library stole my tape randomly and it really ticked me off because it was a nice and heavy dispenser. When I found it, I went to take it back and she accused me of stealing HER tape.
I told her I could prove it was mine and she asked how. I flipped it over to where I had written "property of teraiin" on it. She said that proved nothing. 🙄

Oh my name is on my stapler (inside) I wasn't going to be a child and show him at that point. So I took it back at closing time and replaced it with another.

You probably handled it better than I did the tape fiasco haha

I laughed the whole time he was telling me that it was his and how he had it for the last 5 years. Oh really dude, I didn't know we shared initials.

I call my mom every night on my way home and she isn't answering her phone. Her phone has been having issues so she told me to call my dads phone if I couldn't reach her. So I did. This was a terrible idea. I got his voicemail and heard his voice - not that I've forgotten what he sounds like. But cue sobbing.
She's probably at her brothers house and has no service so I'm not worried about her but holy shit I didn't think about what it would be like to hear his voice.
So we were having the neighbor girls watch Ridley for us tonight and they were going to the mall. So taking Ridley with them. They are 12 and 14. I was so nervous letting them go to a busy mall with my baby, but I was trying really hard to be okay with it. But as we were on our way back from the 7 Eleven I saw them all walking and their mom was with them! Omg I'm pretty sure my relief was palpable. Lol

My dad had me go through his messages on his answering machine and there were some from my mom on there. Total punch in the gut.

lol I'm so glad they were with mom!!!! I would have been so nervous I'd have gone to the mall too.
Hugs onesweetworld I haven't heard my dads voice in 9 years. Trying to think where I would again. If I watched some home videos it would probably wreck me.
