We're on our way to Indiana. 6.5 hour drive. Right now everybody is happy.
DH slept in a bit this morning, and I was getting frustrated getting both girls ready. I was about to snap something at the toddler for whining and I looked out the kitchen window and a cardinal was looking right at me. I instantly felt calmer. This is our first time back to my childhood home since my Mom's funeral.

C woke up at 7 and the toddler was up shortly after. We've already eaten breakfast and been to the grocery store. All that's left on the agenda for today is picking up Panera and taking it over to my BFF and to hang out with her and the new baby. She's so cute but I so prefer the age C is at now to newborn. Smiley easy babies are the best.
fem good luck with the drive. I hope the trip goes well and isn't too tough for you
I can totally relate to that feeling iwantbacon. I got so pissed at people telling me to soak in every minute of the baby stage with DD1 because I was SO damn tired I felt like I couldn't enjoy anything.
O has been playing with an empty wipe container for 20 minutes. She loves the crinkling sound.

The stomach bug hit me last night, so I kind of feel hungover without the fun. I'm actually a lot better today than I have been the last few days. G is also teething we think; he was miserable yesterday. N has been wild all day so far, so MH tried to take him to the playground. He just texted me to say they were coming home because there was a ton of snow still covering the playground. No other plans besides getting the house back in order.
Online ordering is the best thing ever. O is asleep so I just placed an order at the Panera we're 20 minutes away from so DH can just run in and grab it.
Maybe others have been doing this a while but I'm just jumping on the bandwagon.

We've done it once and it was so convenient. Definitely doing it again. Never done it at Starbucks but I know many people do.

Last night we went to a fish fry with my parents. This morning we went to the library to get out of the house. No other plans this weekend besides chores and a run.
DH took dd1 out for chores and I did house chores this morning. Dd2 took a good morning nap. She was still up a couple times overnight. She's 5 months today! I was supposed to go to a shower today, but I don't want to potentially spread the flu to a pregnant woman. I hope they understand. I am however still going to the psychic medium tonight. So excited. Sorry about the bug smallpotato. Hope you feel better soon. That was very sweet you saw that cardinal fem.

Not much going on here today. It's not spring break here yet - it's typically the first week of April.
DH had a game last night so no fun shenanigans for me. DS2 crapped in his underwear last night the second I went to rock the baby. DS1 threw up at midnight...in the bathtub. It was so much and so gross. He never got sick again so I guess he ate too much or something didn't agree with him? Then, DH let me sleep in this morning...he had DS2 in underwear and he had gone potty a few times. DH went for a run and the second he left, DS2 crapped in his pants again!!!!! Uggghhhh.
Anyway, I mentioned to DH that I wanted to see Beauty and the Beast and I would like to DS1 so I think we may go in a little bit.
ksyknelvr73 my toddler had a poop accident at daycare yesterday too, which hasn't happened in a long time for her. I was glad they had to clean it up. Sorry for all the bodily fluids.
htle07 I'm on the S16 group on Facebook too and what you described seems to be a common theme for most people right now. Some have mentioned mental leaps, separation anxiety, or teething as possibilities. Whatever it is I hope it passes soon for you guys.
The usual, groceries and laundry. At Walmart this morning, the cashier's hand lotion was making me so nauseous. Barf.
I hope this is an easy pregnancy on you. How were your last two?
First one was easy, minus a cardiac issue in utero that resolved itself and SPD. 2nd one was also relatively easy, though nauseous 24/7 for 18 weeks and again SPD, but worse.
I anticipate bad SPD again since I'm not really healed yet and also have to work more. I'm nauseous today, but I dont know if it's psychosomatic or if it's a repeat of the nausea.

Well I'll be crossing my fingers that the nausea stays away with two littles to take care of.
Hopefully the SPD won't be as bad as you're anticipating, that one I don't have experience with.
We set up our kegerator this morning. This afternoon we are headed to the brew supply store and maybe a brewery and pick up a pizza. Our very first home brew that's all our own will be ready on tap this time next week, yay! We're also watching lots of basketball!
My husband brews but hasn't for a few years. Your day sounds great!
DD1's movie theater party was fun. We saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D and it was awesome! Between her family party and this one, she got enough money and Target gift cards to buy the Nintendo 3DS she's been wanting forever. So we went to out Target and they are out of stock. They supposedly have 2 wasleft at the next closest Target, so we are heading there now. I hope they really have them because she is so excited to get this thing.
@holachica, I'm totally jealous of your home brew and kegerator!
So, I had no idea that these Nintendo 3DS devices are so hard to get. None of the nearby Target stores have them in stock and they told me that as soon as they get them, they are gone. And you can't order them to be shipped. We learned that "limit stock" on the website doesn't guarantee that it's actually in stock at that store. I called all the "limit stock" stores and the closest one that had one (two, really) in stock is an hour away. They let us put it on hold and DH grabbed all the gift cards and jumped in his car to go get it. He just texted me that he has it in his hands. DD1 is soooo excited. Best Daddy ever!

So for those of you with kids in the 2-3 year old range thoughts on taking them to see beauty and the beast? I think it's probably too scary but thought I'd poll the group....
@jwinct yay for the epic search success! vavavictoria, I do not think I would bring dd1 (3 this month) to see it. I have still been hesitant on some of the cartoon Disney movies because of scary parts though, haha. And I've never actually taken her to a movie before too.

fem Glad you made it safely. Where were you driving from? We had so much rain and fog. sanibel21 Boo! Is she gonna a reschedule you? vavavictoria My call would be to wait. My little cousins would get pretty scared and this is much more realistic.
We are about two hrs from my parents in Indiana. DS has been such a trooper. The whole trip is just over 12 hrs, and he didn't start fussing til about 8 hrs in, and only for about 30 minutes til we stopped to feed him and stretch our legs. Hope it's this easy going back Friday.
vavavictoria my 3 year old was terrified of Moana so I don't think we'll try even the animated Beauty and the Beast yet. ETA: She also seems more scared of movies in the theater. She loved Frozen but we went to a sing along once and she was scared of parts at the theater that didn't bother her at home.
