@janetheconquerer I am like 99.9% sure it will be waiting until tomorrow. I just had to sew a button back on a pair of H's work pants. I think that is enough laundryesque jobs for a day. haha.
Looking for lunch suggestions -- what's on the menu for you/your LOs today??
I'm out of inspiration and nothing is currently made so I'll have to start soon.
I'm no help because I only make lunch for the kids on the weekends, but my kids are obsessed with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, goldfish, and fruit. They don't get to have PB&J at school because of peanut allergies so it's banned, so they always ask for it come the weekends.

I need to try PB&J for M again, he didn't like it the last time I made it. Might be dinner for him.

I found out with DS that he will not eat it if the bread is soft and not toasted, so I have to toast the bread first.

Lunch ended up being salami, provolone, hummus and bread, pretzel sticks, and milk ... Good enough!! I definitely had PB&J in mind though.. Maybe dinner.. She just gives me such a hard time with food lately.. I used to have all of these options ready to go in the fridge but she has gotten realllllly picky about things so I never know what to make

Sadly, the pickiness might continue for a while. And J is sometimes picky just to be obstinate. Last night I put olives on his plate. "No mommy, I don't like olives!" Since when? They're his favorite thing. But he insisted he hated them *while eating them all and then stealing the rest off his sister's plate.* So he just wanted to tell me he was being picky. Okay then.
taketheshot, my kids will devour something up one night and turn their nose up at it the next. welcome to toddlerhood.
right now adelyn will eat lunchables. caden won't touch them. neither eat pb&j, they are broken like that.
we do hot dogs, mac n cheese, fish sticks, quesadillas, cheese and crackers, melted cheese on tricuits, cheese sandwich (they won't eat their own though, i have to make "myself" one and then they come to me and eat off my plate. They think they are eating my lunch but they are wrong)
My friend and I were discussing our respective exercise classes. He took the opportunity to humble brag about how much weight he lost since January. Dude, good for you, but I don't need to know how much you weigh.

and there's always breakfast for any meal.
Yes! Even if he claims to hate something, if it's on my plate or daddy's plate he insists on eating it.
And neither of my kids will touch chicken nuggets with a ten foot pole. Roast chicken? Fine. Put breading on it? That's the devil's poison!
I've had a few awkward conversations when well-meaning moms who proudly present J with nuggets at parties or play dates. I swear, we're not health food nuts! He's just being a toddler!
