fknhostile is that O date based on temps? I don't know as much about that (I used OPKs). But I know you can implant as late as 12 dpo and it is still considered normal. If you got a positive at 13 dpo I think you would have had to implant at like 10 or 11 dpo? Definitely within normal realm.
This is me speaking as an internet expert with a google degree in GKU.
Sorry it took me so long to respond. The baby had a doctor appointment. Yes my O date was based on temps. I'm so used to getting a positive at 10dpo it just took me by surprise and I went crazy for a second. I've chilled now... a little 😂 thank you.
I've had enough of this bloody stupid food aversion thing.
I need to eat every few hours, something very small or I start to feel sick and dry heave. Anything bigger than a handful of whatever it is I will feel sick, and that's even if I can force myself to eat it as NOTHING is appealing to me and EVERYTHING is making me feel sick when I look at it/start making it.
Come on body!!!!! I've just forced down about a quarter of a chicken breast and 1 chip as I had to spit that out as soon as I put it in my mouth.
DS's having a great time with his chicken, chips and cherry tomatoes. Going 'mmmm!' with every mouthful... yeah cheers son
So far everything I eat tastes good and stays down but I get an instant stomach ache and heartburn. Boo. I didn't get heartburn with my 2 previous pregnancies until a lot later.
FX! I would love to go home but it's the middle of no where and the schools are shit.
I'm glad it's not quite where I grew up. I'm from a town of 250 people and graduated in a class of 9. They moved to the "big city" (LOL) when my brother and I were in college. I'd never go back to my home town.
That sounds like DH's class. I think there were around 8 or 9 people in his class and we grew up in the same town but I went to a different school that was a little bigger. We currently live in the same little town (both moved away and then came back) and I don't think I would ever leave. I love being back here.
fknhostile I echo the step away from google advice. No good will come of it!! (Or so I've heard 😉)
Apparently I am suffering from one pregnancy symptom - insomnia. Already?!? And excessive peeing on sticks. Eek.
First, Congrats and Welcome! Second, I have been taking test almost everyday to make sure the lines keep getting darker. It reassures me that things are going well for now.
I just realized that with my change in due date my BFP would really have been at like 9 or 10 dpo. That's pretty early. Not helping this possible twin idea... The chances are still very low but still.
I got my BFP at 9 DPO this time, and with twins I got it at 12 DPO after a negative test. lol, so the exact opposite of whats supposed to happen.

pootsen & izz67, the microwave is downstairs so thankfully there isn't any lingering smell. We have a TINY office that we all share so I've moved myself into the conference room next door instead lol. I'm now eating Nerds to settle my stomach. So glad that the gestational diabetes test is so far off!

I'm going to try and work in a nap soon. I've been exhausted all day, but I still made it to the gym for some cardio! I'm supposed to go out to dinner and see Beauty and the Beast with my mom friends tonight. The movie is at 7 and I'm a little concerned about falling asleep before it's over.

Every time I see your avatar, I spend 20 minutes looking up Parks n Rec gifs. Just thought you should know. I've heard good things about the movie, so I hope you stay awake!

Oh no...the gestational diabetes test! I hadn't even thought about that. Must fit in all the sugary treats now! I failed the first one last time and the 3-hour one was not fun. It's one of those things you mentally block after giving birth, I think.

My first OB appointment is now scheduled for tomorrow. I called to schedule and they had an opening, so I took it. Not looking forward to spending 30+ minutes with a med. assistant who knows less about fertility than I do. lol At my last first OB appt, she didn't understand what IUI was and why I couldn't choose the baby's sex ahead of time.

The only time I haven't felt nauseous today was when I was eating. Needless to say, not meeting my "don't gain too much weight with this pregnancy" goals today.
