How do I get on that diet?

Last pregnancy they forgot to avtually record my weight until my third appointment, 7lbs heavier than my first. I never corrected them, just let it be wrong.

I stay at home, and work from home, actually, I need to shop with light, healthy lunches in mind. I love all the carbs and cheese when I'm KU, and I have zero willpower. Also, mh works for an ice cream company and our freezer is always stocked. I've had lunchtime ice cream twice this week. Maybe three times.

I love my OB so much. First he came into the ultrasound room to make sure that everything was ok and to see how I was doing. Then when he came into the exam room, he was like "So, let's see queasy, tired, diarrhea....yep pregnancy sounds like a blast."

I deleted the posted because I screwed up the quoting, but I'm glad you saw it.

Basically what I posted before I screwed up the quoting and deleted it was that the medical asst. wouldn't use my transfer date to determine my EDD, but my OB did. My OB was super great today, and was happy to schedule an u/s for next Thursday when I'll be 8w5d. Then, my next appt with her is 4/7.

It's 7:45pm. I just popped a promethazine left over from my first tri with DD and am getting into bed. Should be a nausea free night with decent sleep, because sedative. See you ladies on the morning!

I'm hoping this will be lost because I have news that I want to share and no one to share it with. Please excuse me and any triggers!

Yesterday on a whim SO and I talked about how my period was late and I was thinking of taking a pregnancy test. I did and it was positive.

We have a 7 month old which we spent 3 years doing fertility treatments to get pregnant. During pregnancy I developed gestational diabetes that turned into borderline type 2. I haven't been on medication for the diabetes it has been controlled with Diet and exercise under dr observation.

in the beginning if the month, I went to see the obgyn for strong premenstrual symptoms the options they gave us were get pregnant or go on birth control. Since we have a infertility diagnosis and want to get pregnant again, they were weary of birth control but said my unmedicated sugar levels made me not a candidate to get pregnant either. So the plan was treat the symptoms til I'm medicated then get pregnant.

Long story longer, I called today to ask what I should do and what tests they want done since I know diabetes has higher risks particularly in early pregnancy and they scared the poop out if me last visit. Also called the sugar dr and asked the same thing. Neither obgyn or endocrinologist called me back so I'm panicing I could be doing more to reduce the risks.

On a positive note, no hormonal issues yet! It's a nice break from the crap weekly each month I had been feeling since October. Thanks for reading.

I teen mom, rhobh, and occasionally Vanderpump rules. To be fair, I also watch syfy and Doctor Who. I'm balanced in my tv viewing.

Rogue I'm sure your doctor's will call you back. If not... call again. I had to call my OB office twice. I had a loss and was told if I got pregnant again to call to get blood work. I did and no one called me back. I had to call again. I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy this time around. Welcome and congratulations!

Rogue one of my best friends has type 1 and got pregnant accidentally when her numbers weren't controlled at all. She was terrified, but went to see her OB and endocrinologist within a couple days and they were able to make a plan and keep her and baby healthy. Keep calling/bugging them if they don't call you back. And congrats!! You must have been surprised!

Yuck, I have a cold...anyone have any amazing tips?
I am doing a nasal rinse and I drink a ton of water. Steamy showers.
I guess I should run a humidifier at night in our room too. DS gets one nightly because our house is pretty dry.

Warning (this is disgusting): I did nearly puke in the sink while I was coughing up a bunch of crap. That was my first gagging incident, but that could have happened even if I weren't pregnant, it was really gross.

We decided not to go house hunting this weekend and instead are staying home to get this one ready to go on the market. I'm breathing a sigh of relief because it means we are not telling my parents we are pregnant until Easter and I have an US or 2 under my belt. I was pretty freaked to spill the beans so early.
