Y'all. I made dinner. And the smell of it makes me want to die. 😷👎🏻 My whole house smells like it. 😭😭😭
Dh comes in, mmmm it smells yummy I just about start sobbing
Yup that's why I'm barely cooking right now and poor DH is living off of Snap Kitchen and take out. I feel (smell?) your pain.
i should be thankful. But. It hasn't been an issue before tonight. But seriously, I made ds chicken nuggets so I don't have to taste dinner to see if it is any good. I am contemplating just packing him up and running an errand to get out of the house.
I am hiding at my friend's house. Lol. I came here to work. And here I sit in a non stinky house. Ds is watching octonauts. I need to move stuff to my car, but now I'm starving and have no energy. Y'all help!!

So tired today, I went shopping and was so tired had to put down my lunch to take a nap. On the plus side I was able to stomach fish for dinner, I mean it was fish and chip but still fish.
I already feel like my lung capacity is reduced, I just got out of breath bringing my laundry up from the basement. My two tiny flights of stairs should not cause me to be out of breath.
I got some really cute summer clothes for DD on sale today. I can't wait for summer!

OMG. So one thing I've been able to keep down and enjoy is potato bread. That super soft yellow squishy bread from heaven. I remembered the other day how much I loved sandwiches on potato bread with mayonaisse and some form of meat or another. Well we don't ha e amy lunchmeat or like cooked chicken to make a sandwich, but I really wanted a potato bread sandwich. So I said Fuck it and slathered some mayonnaise between two pieces of potato bread.
As I was doing this my husband walked over and said, "Are you..." and I yelled, "DON'T JUDGE ME!!" And he replied, "this is kind of a judgeworthy moment, but enjoy your sandwich..."
I am ded. Here lies me.
I love potato bread. I also love dipping any kind of roll in salad dressing. Which is odd, I know. But so good. And it can be various kinds, 1000 island, italian, good ole oil and vinegar...

so I was coming back to say I ended up eating Chinese for dinner and have managed to keep it down. But now that I read about your mayonnaise sandwich, I think that was premature 😷😷😷

i can't breathe for nothing anymore. I get winded doing anything!!! I'm hoping the breathlessness will fade as the hormones settle and more things even out.

I think I caught DS's cold. I've been sneezing all day and now I can't breathe through my nose. Maybe it's just allergies. I took a zyrtec, so hopefully that does something.
We are going to Australia for 2 weeks in April. DD is 2.5 and won't let me wear her anymore (cue tears) and we don't use the stroller a ton. I bring it to the zoo on occasion, I took it to Disneyland when we went back when she was 26mo, and we will go on walks in the neighborhood to the park in it. But she walks most of the zoo even when we have the stroller, and she will walk at the mall and places like that. Well, sometimes she demands to be carried, but she's pretty good about walking.
But I think we're probably going to be doing a lot more walking than we normally do on this trip and I don't want to carry her a ton. And she probably won't let DH carry her, she's very much a mama's girl.
I can't decide if we should take the stroller (we only have a Bob so that would be a giant pita to lug around the world) or if we should rent a stroller there. Or just not worry about using a stroller there.
I took all of 3 bites of my leftover eggplant parm for lunch and I feel like I want to throw up. And dammit now I don't have anything to eat.
Leftovers are my struggle too. It's like once I eat something, I can't even think about it without getting nauseous. Even if it was totally tasty and everything the first time.

You guys I was just looking back at my bump pics from when I was pregnant with DD. I got seriously huge near the end. I'm kind of terrified for how big I'm going to get with two in there.

I am chuckling, because this would also happen to me. No lettuce??

Hellllp me decide.
I'd rent a stroller there. Even if it ends up being more expensive, the convenience would be worth the price for me.
I'm so excited for your trip. Share pictures with us!

starmile , that sounds so amazing! Whereabouts downunder will you be going? Do you have family or friends there? I second Rama , suggestion to having a stroller. If you're going to be about a lot, your DD will likely get tired so having one on hand in that case would be good. Instead of renting, what about just buying a cheapy stroller when you get there? K-Mart will definitely have them, maybe even Woolworths, there's a Target there too. Maybe you can even get it delivered to where you'd be staying. Hah! here's a bunch at Kmart. You can ask hotel concierge to donate it for you when you leave or even bring it back if you don't already have an umbrella stroller. DS is also around 2.5 and I broke down and recently got a MacLaren for traveling...not that we do any but were planning to this yr. Yes do share pics! so I ... I mean we can all live vicariously through you.

starmile I'd buy a light little umbrella stroller, we got ours on Amazon for like $20 , we are bringing it when we travel next week because it's light and small. Plus carrying DD is just exhausting and traveling with a toddler is going to be extra tiring as it is

The amount of times I have to pee in one day is getting out of hand. I drink all of this water like I'm supposed to, but in return I'm basically living on the toilet. Curse this cruel cycle.
carsaidyes, cougarette, I THOUGHT was was breaking out a few weeks ago. I forgot about the nasty, cystic acne I got with DS at the end of first tri/beginning of second tri. Like weeks 12-16. Well, I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I woke up with the biggest zits ever. I'm blumpy, and my clothes don't fit, and I have awful roots because I haven't been able to color my hair, and now the zits. I'm fugly. Can't wait until I have a real bump, flowing pregnancy hair, and clear, glowing skin. Also, I'm counting the minutes until I can color my hair. I have an appointment on 4/22 and there will be some fierce balayage happening.
so I was coming back to say I ended up eating Chinese for dinner and have managed to keep it down. But now that I read about your mayonnaise sandwich, I think that was premature 😷😷😷
Oh no!! I'm sorry about your dinner!
i never actually threw up, thankfully. But sheesh last night was miserable!
I tried to catch up a bit but had to scroll past 90% of everything because food was being mentioned. I am so jealous of those turning the corner and able to eat. I think I have the latest EDD (October 31st/November 1 anyone?) and I often feel behind if that makes sense. I thought about introducing on Nov 17 but I like it here and don't think I could keep up with two. Ugh just my little whine this morning.
I'm jealous of those able to eat, too, and I'm due early October so I should be among the first turning corners and I'm not and....wahhhh!
Also, I'm due 10/1 by LMP but I think 9/29 based on my chart. I intro'ed in Sept but I felt so far behind everyone so I know exactly how you feel. I decided to lurk here and ended up staying because I like it here! Plus, DS didn't come until 41+1 (ughhh) so I feel like an October baby is pretty inevitable. Anyway, even though we're opposite ends of the month, I'm still really struggling with food. Hopefully we'll both turn a corner SOON!

Well my OB office just ruined my day. Blood work came back and my glucose was elevated so they're sending me to do a 2 hour glucose test. UGH!I made the appointment with the lab for next Thursday. Then I realized that I may not be able to keep the glucose drink down. The thought of it is making me gag.

I'm right there in the back with you. I was at the very end of the month with DS too and always felt behind. I thought about joining November but after hanging here for a while I like it and am here to stay!
Good morning ladies! After a pretty miserable night/morning (not pregnancy related), I'm up doing stuff and my maternity clothes I ordered came today I'm having fun trying them all on even though they look funny and don't fit yet.

I have the same EDD also and I am right at the not liking to eat/vomiting. Solidarity sista!
