You guys. My mom is here visiting for a week. She drives me nuts. However. I chocked the week FULL of self care appointments! Chiropractor, hair cut, mani/pedi, waxing (if I keep the appointment- I'd like to get this done as I can no longer see my nether regions but I never have and I'm scurred), massage, and of course what week would be complete without my BPP/NST and Ob appointment. Wahoo!!
DVMmomma Good luck with your Mom this week - it'll be worth t to get some pampering done . Going to need you to report back on the waxing. I'm in need! I've had it done a few times and it's not bad at all. But never pregnant!

Have you heard it's worse pregnant? Someone told me that and it made me want to chicken out even more.
Did anyone wear a support band around their belly that they can recommend?
I got one from motherhood. It worked until about the time I went on bed rest. I think other people had cheaper suggestions, but I was absolutely desperate and couldn't wait for shipping/our natural parenting store to open.
That's the one I got. Can't say I'm like omg!! Best thing ever. But for the price I did find it helpful if I was going to be standing for a long period of time. I do a lot of up and down though so I didn't/don't wear it as much as I maybe should because I find it just gets in the way.
piccyami & DVMmomma thanks ladies. I am up and down A LOT at my job so I'll look into these and see what may work.
Also, re:waxing - you're the first to mention the possibel pain due to extra blood flow - which makes sense. BUT, you've birthed a child naturally so this is no prob, right? 😳

...you'd think! Ok I think I'll do it. Shaving at this point will suck. I think I'll get some topical lidocaine from work and try that. Can't be that bad after that right? I've self removed masses with that stuff! SaveSave
DVMmomma, waxing does hurt more when pregnant. I've gone to the same girl for 10 years, and she warned me at my first one post positive test. Even my lip and brow get more irritated, much less the bikini area. It's over quickly, though. Good luck!
