I'll play along since I tend to read more than reply!
High: I made a well-received waffle bar for our out of town guests on Saturday. Waffles, reduced berry sauce, nutella, whipped cream, bananas, syrup, and also scrambled eggs, sausauge and some some Irish soda bread. (I'M STILL FULL!)
Low: Thunderstorms all night kept me awake so I'm all sorts of cranky at work!
High: Fun party at friends' house. Got dinner made for 2 nights this week. L did all of the errands/running around yesterday while I got to stay home and get ready for the week/cook/laundry. Slept in and skipped church.
Low: Nothing was really low. We were really busy and felt like we needed a weekend from the weekend. (oh, low point - I ate all.day.yesterday. I could not get full. Hello, PMS.)

I love that skipping church feeling!
Honestly, if it weren't for the kids, we would stop going. The kids haven't minded going for the past few years, but this year, they aren't a fan of the teacher and Carter complains that he then really only gets 1 down day/week to laze around in the morning (which I understand and agree with.) We have to leave for church at 8:30am (9am service) and it is easily 10:30 or after by the time we are driving out of there. We typically have an early lunch and C has to leave for swim team 3-3:15ish - getting home at 5:45ish. Then dinner, shower, etc and in bed by 7:45. In a few weeks, we are going to start having a soccer game squished in sometime between lunch and swim.

Ugh! I totally hear you on that lost day! We leave at 9am for church and get home around 12:30. Plus, the kiddo falls asleep on the drive back home and won't nap for the rest of the day (which means I don't get a nap!). I like the church people so much, but the drive and time suck make us go only 50% of the time.
We can't get into any kind of church habit. I like to go Christmas Eve.
HIGH- We had a pretty good weekend! M took 3 hour naps both days and was so fun to be with when she was awake. Met some friends for dinner about an hour away and M managed alright with the later night and longer drive. Yesterday we all walked to the park and played in the afternoon which was fun. It was beautiful out!

HIGH: Got an armoire for the nursery for FREE! It is currently in the garage where it will be painted after we find out if we are having a boy or girl. Another high. I have 2 side gigs starting on top of the crappy full time one. One of them is new. The other is from my former employer. More freelance work, more $$$$.
LOW: Don't really have any. It was a good weekend.
