I'm getting really uncomfortable cramps. They came on all of a sudden this evening before dinner. I'm not pregnant (as far as I can tell) and the interwebs tell me that this could be my body trying to start up AF. Besides the fact that this is way to soon (it was 16ish months with M), I've never had excessively crampy periods. Is this going to be my new normal? Or is this just the weirdness of the first cycle? Has anyone else had anything like this?
My cycle is totally different after pregnancy #2 than it was before kids or after pregnancy #1. Much tougher cramps, I can't use my menstrual cup for the first 24h of my period because the pressure is all different, and generally it's just... more. Everything. It sucks.

Okay, the "wrong" gif and now "pull my finger" are making me laugh so hard that I had to explain the thread to A, who now knows in detail how different my menstrual cycle and reproductive organs feel since M was born.
I think the first year was bad. Like curl up with a heating pad the first day bad. Before kids I had back cramping but nothing that made me want to stay in bed.

Hasn't he learned not to ask yet?
He didn't ask. He just LOOKED at me and so I explained and then I decided he should know what I go through every month.
It doesn't help that I just finished going through it again, so it's on my mind anyway.
