That feel: When you bust your ass on a new concept, its approved and loved by the design team, but your manager hates it. SRS?
This happened to me allll the time. The marketing or sales team would love what I did, bit then the higher-ups would reject it in favour of something bland.
I'm that BTDT mom that looks at new mom to be registries and just laughs at the shit on there. I'm an asshole, I know.
+1.
My cousin registered for a bunch of stuff. Ok, that's fine have a variety. However, some of it was just, huh? She registered for a total of 5 car seats. Two convertibles and three infant buckets. One of the infant buckets won't even work with the bases to the other buckets. Maybe there are for grandparents cars or something, but that struck me as odd and extremely excessive.
I found the stroller I've been drooling over on ebay for like $350. New they're $530. I think I'm going to go for it! I've never bought anything off ebay before, so I'm nervous. I'll just have to buy the second seat kit and we'll be all set for the two girls. I'm going to go to BBB on my lunch and play with it, just to be sure.
W fell in love with her stroller on vacation. She'd wake up and hold my face and say "stroll." and insisted on sitting in it whenever she wasn't on the move- like on the day it rained so we sat around watching Peppa Pig all morning.
Be careful on EBAY with strollers, there are lots of scammers, I'm in a stroller queens group on Facebook and a few have been taken, do not pay friends and family...what ever you do! What stroller is it?

Baby Jogger City Select. I have the versa and like it, so I think I'd like the select. The seats are pretty close together though now that I've seen it with both in person. But some of the others seemed like beasts or kinda not as sturdy.
I have been going to physical therapy and its really helping but such a time commitment. Also, our new camper is in, and we sign papers Saturday and the dealer stores until the end of April! Super exciting!!!

+ whatever on soliciting double stroller opinions -- DH has been mildly obsessing over whether we'll need a double since TTC! Kids will be a bit over 28 months apart. My thought is we won't need it as much as he thinks, buuuuut I really have no idea.
My DH scanned 5 bathtubs at BRU -- the most ridiculous and expensive ones -- but I was having a pregnant lady meltdown and he was trying to make me laugh.

We did not leave them on the registry.
I remember my pregnant lady meltdown in BRU. We had to leave.
linny12 I say double stroller is definitely a necessity. It's the only way I can somewhat go anywhere with both kids. Toddler can be restrained. I also have a Tula & ktan, but I find it easier to not have to take the baby out of the car seat if it's a quick in and out. Or if she's sleeping. Also I got a sit n stand in case the toddler grows out of sitting in a stroller. But also I have an extremely active monster when we are out in public.

I just ordered a gift online for a baby shower that my stepmom is going to (she doesn't do online ordering.) Between the two registries that she has there are 2 travel systems, 3 car seats, 2 pack and plays and 4 different types of bottles. I didnt understand that all but whatever. Not my kid. Even when I registered when having G I didn't do that. And I know the women the registry is for. She has two sister and both of them have kids. You would think that one of them would guide her.
Ha. The bridesmaid dress situation got so obnoxious to future SIL (she picked new dresses and a bunch of people pointed out that they weren't bra-friendly) that she said just pick a royal blue dress and send me a pic. Yay!

I've been looking into double strollers, i think we are getting this one because we have the graco click connect infant carrier! I'm glad for these posts bcuz I've been going back and forth deciding if this was necessary

I had a double stroller when I had 2 under 2. I got a grace so that I could use the infant carrier. That thing was a tank but it was very useful. If DD1 was a little older, I probably would have went with a sit and stand.
Omg robotpcr...that looks more like a pageant dress than for a flower girl. Reminds me of that show "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding". But regardless, M will still look adorable!
I'm looking to sell my wedding gown. I want no reminders of my wedding day. I would just throw it away, but I spent $$$ on it. Any suggestions where I could try to sell it? I was thinking eBay, but not sure if people would buy a wedding gown they couldn't try on or return.

Check for a Facebook group. My state has one and people are always posting dresses. Also I just learned wedding dress consignment stores are a thing too.
If I had another, I would do a sit and stand at this age. Probably the Joovy one because my b/sil have one and I like it.
On another note...anyone have a good face lotion? I use aveeno and have for a long time and my face is falling off. It literally flakes all day long and that feels ridiculous. I need winter to end.
Double strollers are a necessity with a 25 month age gap, right? Any 2+ moms want to weigh in?
I have Tula, but sometimes baby wearing isn't ideal.
I baby wear, and think a double is a necessity. We have the city mini gt double and DD still fits great!
I agree with this after doing a few walks/walkable errands with both, DD1 in the stroller and wearing baby. I thought I could go without but I'm going to get a double. Especially for the summer when it's hot, I know I'd be miserable wearing the baby all the time.
I actually just looked at strollers today and loved this one, even though it's pretty beastly!
