I have an ultrasound, NST, and consult with the perinatologist on Tuesday (42w) if I make it that far. I plan to talk to him about it then. But I'd really like for labor to happen on its own and soon so we don't even have to consider it.
My goodness. You are a saint for being this pregnant. Haven't even hit my due date (Tuesday) and I am like get F out.

Just got home from DD's pedi appt and she past her birth weight! I also love our pedi. I shared our reflux concerns and told her I cut out chocolate and she was like "whyyy would you do that to yourself?" She thinks it's just normal spit up since the girl eats a ton.
jnow I don't know if I should say I'm glad you're home or to wish you had your baby. I'll say I'm glad everyone is healthy and you don't need to be monitored for now.
If I remember, I'll try to do a check-in next week. I have completely forgotten how old everyone's littles are. I keep forgetting DS is on the older side of this group and then wonder how someone is just giving birth when it seemed like awhile ago now for me.
@priss08 helpful advice from your Mom....honestly, advise like that stresses me out more!! I do hope you start feeling better soon though. You've got a lot going on, and how you are feeling makes sense.
I'm officially on maternity leave!!! It doesn't feel real yet, but H was super sweet and got me flowers and deep cleaned the house and made me a mocktail. We have some plans for the weekend to see a movie and dinner with the IL's, but otherwise it's just hanging out until this baby makes an appearance! I'm ready to meet this baby while simultaneously hoping he'll bake a little longer so H and I can enjoy the time at home together before becoming a family of 3.

DH is finally here! We're going back home tomorrow, and since it's going to be rainy the next couple weeks, he'll be home and we can figure out our new normal. I'm so happy to be going home, even though my mom was very, very helpful, it's not the same.
@priss08 hugs. I hope your Dr. can help. I'm assuming your mom lives away? Since her offering to come help for a few hours would be more helpful than her insensitive comment. Sorry you have to deal with that.
My mom is 15 min. away. I'm just goingbto let it go. But, it sucks.

@priss08 any chance you can just get outside? Pending it isn't freezing / winter storm... bundle baby and yourself up and get some fresh air. I know it helps me a ton.
I vividly remember strapping Liv my chest and standing under an umbrella in the pouring rain just so I could get outside of my living room.
I did this eailier and it did help. I think DS and I both feel better.
I must admit though, I laughed about the freezing cold stuff, it was close to 80 today.

I do feel better now though. DH stopped in before work to check on me. Not going to lie, I joked about him quiting his job and we'd just live off our VA payments but...thats not the wisest idea.
My mom is leaving Sunday or Monday. I'm not sure how I'll shower without her to entertain the baby
Baby holding device with sleeping baby in the bathroom with you. I think the white noise of the water helps to keep them calm and asleep.
You can do it!
I don't have any baby holding devices but when I was home alone with baby and needed to shower, I wrapped her up in a blanket and put her in the laundry basket of clothes and she did not make one peep the whole shower. She would have fallen asleep if I had taken longer!
I'm pumping and going to bed. DH is taking the 10 pm, and 5 am feedings, while I am taking the 2 am. I should get decent sleep, assuming I can fall asleep. I took Benedryl to fall asleep a lot, and now I don't bc it's too hard to get up....but sometimes I just lay there. So annoying.
