Baby D decided to go off his schedule last night. Why? Because I have a friend coming by to watch him while I bring DS2 for lab work which I can't imagine will go well at all. He nursed at the normal time before bed, but woke up at 2:30 to nurse again. So he ate at 6:30 instead of 7:30. I pushed the appointment back a little and am hoping he'll nurse at 8:30 before I need to go. Ugh!

Aw, thanks everyone. But I think it was the 2 days of stomach flu that dropped the weight. Which prob means I'll see most of it back. But even if just a couple lbs stay off that'll be a nice jump start to my "diet".

Jane slept!!! I slept!!! when my husband said he slept but wanted more hours of it and my response was "I don't care" LOL We are a week away from our 5 day trip to AZ and everything is set to just chill and have fun at my mom's. I'm getting excited.
crimpgirl, LOL! Uhh yeah glad I have a girl... ha ha.
Our babysitter told me that DD had a rough day yesterday and barely napped. She did awesome for us during the evening, though. And this morning she woke up at 6am to eat. I'm glad she's sleeping 10 hours, but getting up that early means she's exhausted by the time we're leaving...
I ended up putting her down for a nap at 7am and she slept HARD for a 1/2 hour. I'll fully admit to crawling back into bed (fully dressed for work) for a solid 15 minutes of quiet/dark time under the covers...

Winnifred, we have this same problem. My littles like to wake like 5:45/6am to eat and then they want to go back to bed at 7ish. I drop them off at daycare at 7:30 and they are usually ready for a nap, but too stimulated from the drive/drop off to actually nap.

requiressnacks, Winnifred, I think that's what's happening with Jane. We take her dad to work first and then I take her to daycare and this morning she shrieked in the truck until I could get her to keep the binkie in her mouth, then she slept until we got to daycare.
Also, the last two days she hasn't pooped at home in the evening or night and yesterday I got a baggy with her clothes having had a huge blowout. Daycare says they think she gets constipated. Has anyone else dealt with this? what can I do for her? I got some constipation ease, but didn't notice until I got home that it's for 6 months +. I did give her a 1/4 of the dose last night and again this morning in her bottle. I'm hoping that will help.
We got a new couch last night. I've been wanting one forever because our old one was disgusting and beyond ready to go. We got a really good deal on a La-Z-boy sleeper sofa. I am amazed at the crap I found behind and under the old house. Amazed and disgusted. I blame the kids, but seriously, so gross.

We routinely clean behind/under the sofas. Mostly because we saw ants last summer. Usually I see ants by the back door by the kitchen never in the living room. It was pretty gross and I only have a toddler.

Someone bought the team Greek food for lunch. I had a piece of pita bread. And later the Kitchen is having an event to share the new items we're selling. I'm sad I can't stuff my face.

Whelp...daycare just called and Gianna has a 101 temp and Gabriel has a 99 temp. MH is going to get them. I called the doctor and they said just to give them infant tylenol.
Is that all I do?? I'm sort of freaking out since this is my first time having a sick baby.
lol crimpgirl. my baby is grabbing everything in front of her. I'm sure if she had a penis she would be grabbing it, too. maybe you could put a toy in his hands while changing him?

requiressnacks Oh no, poor kiddos. I'd just watch their eating and diapers to see if that's affected. And hold them. With fevers you can get the chills so I like to hold them. Also, I put some rubbing alcohol on their feet, put socks on to help break the fever. Something my mom did not sure of the science.

Oh no! It's bad enough with one sick baby. I hope they're ok. This is when it helps to have your MIL next door. Take advantage of it. Thankfully, my babies never had fevers this early. I think the earliest for us was 8/9 months with ear infections. I'd be all Tylenol my ass.... you're going to see my babies. Lol. Have any of the other babies been sick at their daycare?

poor babies (and mama!). Since they're so little all I can think of is Tylenol. They do have natural cold tablets that ive given but idk if they really do anything. Saline and nose frida if congested and humidifier.
speaking of, which humidifier do you guys have? I guess I need to buy another one.
We have a Viks humidifier that we love. We have one in our room and one in the kids room.

The nice thing about a Dec baby is that it's easy to remember how old they are. Thinking back on when things happened with Leo all I had to do was recall the month and I knew how many months he was.

Ok, seeing my sick babies was the saddest thing ever! I may have cried. We gave them tylenol and they are napping now. I'm really hoping the fever breaks by tomorrow. If not, I'll be calling the doctor back.
I felt like such a newb! Daycare told me about the fever and I had no clue what to do. Luckily H could go pick them up. Then the doctor told me to get the tylenol and give it to them every 4 hours.
I put Raffi on YouTube to stream to the TV. It has led us down a black hole of some really weird child music videos. I think some of these characters may give me nightmares.
