I know a few of us are stm with pree history. What kinds of precautions or monitoring are you doing? Has anyone researched the brewer diet? I have heard it mentioned a lot but not heard much to really back it up.
Personally, - baby aspirin was started the moment the pee stick dried. - already did a 24hr urine sample - already did a baseline liver etc panel to check organ function - I personally check my bp once in a while for peace of mind. - did a 1hr glucose already. Not sure if that was due to bmi, or the pree. A friend with pree mentioned they had her do it a couple times for pree. - I am pretty sure they consider this pregnancy high risk and will continue to do 24hr and blood work for monitoring
No one has mentioned diet changes or anything else.

My BP never went back to normal after my pree so I'm on labetalol and have been on baby aspirin ever since my preconception consult with my MFM before DS. My OB really didn't go into specifics this week but I'm assuming that it would be the same as last time - baby aspirin and a lot of extra monitoring. MFM wanted me to check my BP at home everyday. Third trimester I was going in every week for an appt, ultrasound and some other testing that I forgot the name - they hook you up on your belly to monitor the baby's heart rate?? NST. I only did a 24 hour urine when my BP spiked and my OB sent me to the hospital (so he could get the lab results ASAP instead of waiting a day or two).
edit: I remembered the name of the test - damn pregnancy brain.

I'm just doing baby aspirin starting at 12 weeks. The midwife said that should make a big difference. So far they're just treating me like a normal patient.

+1 I also plan to exercise throughout this pregnancy (did not last time) and not eat so much junk/fast food.

bubblefan, Yes same here! Though I'm only getting to the gym 2 times per week now but it's a start. Last time I feel like I really gave in to cravings too much and made them habits instead of occasional treats so i'm trying to reign that shit in this time.
I want to exercise. But dude. Fatigue is killing me. Allergies too. But fatigue.
That's why I was so proud of myself for 40min yoga yesterday. I want to do it again today, but I am currently doing desk/computer work 👎🏻 and I need to get it done ASAP.
