Non contact sports should be gender desegregated. In many sports male and female elite athletes complete at the same level and yet mens sports are still glorified and said to be better. Like tennis or golf, there's no reason they can't be combined.

Men typically have a biological advantage though. Not to say that women's sports shouldn't be on par, but there are few women who could compete with the top men even in tennis or golf.

As feminist as I want to be- this is where I'm at. We're not biologically capable of building muscle in the same way as men bc of hormones and lack of testosterone. It would be like putting a woman who has been using steroids against other woman. There is an advantage. Now I have no idea what to do/ think about the transgender folks. Obviously they should play with the gender that they are/ identify with. But that complicates the issue when hormones are at play.

There are women out there that can out drive men but for those that can't they make up for it in their short game.
The fur industry is not some terrible grotesque thing. Animals that are farmed for fur (usually mink) are well cared for and regulated, just like any other animal farming. Wild trapping is not what it is often depicted as, the traps are humane and don't injure the animals and there are many northern communities that rely the industry to survive. A lot of people protest fur while happily wearing leather or sheep skin (uggs) or saying faux fur is a great alternative without considering the environmental impact of it being a plastic product
I agree with the golf thing. I played varsity golf through high school and could outdrive men and keep up with the best. Big muscles not required. DH still won't play with me.

I agree women could play with men but there is a ladies tee and it's in front of the men's tee so it's like the sport accounts for the difference.

My legs are awful post two pregnancies but hell no to jeans. I would die. I also wear my bathing suit all summer at our community pool so I don't have a whole lot of issues with putting it out there. It's a body. It's in clothing that's comfortable. It's going to have to do.
