mosdub, I'm still baking too - 39w today. Had a Dr appt yesterday and met w/ a nurse. She said the baby is low, but when I asked "that's good, right?" (in talking about hoping I can avoid induction this time) she just said "it could be!". Way to burst my bubble lady, can't you just humor me and tell me you bet I'll go into labor on my own? She also said I'm measuring a week behind, but that I've trended that way the entire time. No one has mentioned that to me in the last 39 weeks (& the Dr last week commented "that's a good sized baby", so I left there confused, frustrated, and slightly stressed.
Next appt is next Friday, due day. They'll check my cervix and schedule an induction for 41w in case I don't have the baby before that. My H just asked that I wait until Sunday at least (HA!) because anytime after that would give him Easter off, which would be great.
I'm still pregnant. Feel like I need to poop and can't. I am over this week. Clara also woke up at 5:40 and wanted a mommy hug. When daddy went in it was the end of the world. She cried he left swearing and I wanted more sleep. Oh well. Maybe lots of coffee today!
This is my life 90% of the time, too, with DD1 only wanting me. She has recently started letting H do bedtime, which is amazing for my sanity, but motn if he goes in 9/10 times all h*ll breaks loose and I have to go in anyways. His feelings get hurt, I get annoyed that we're now both awake, it's just an overall good time. I keep telling him it's only a phase and I'm praying I'm not lying to him!
Were going somewhere today. DD's hatred for the carseat and car be damned.
Good luck!! Not sure if you've tried it but I've had to swaddle DD once she's in the car seat, she has a terrible startle reflex and every bump made her freak out

Here's hoping we all have babies soon!
Of course! I knew I was forgetting someone else! My next appointment is also next Friday, the day before my EDD! My doctor last visit said he doesn't like to have people go beyond 42 weeks, but we won't worry about it if/when it happens.

So Tilly woke to eat and I knew once we'd be done the toddler would be up too. I opted to just make coffee and be a super duper wife and let DH sleep in. He did send me flowers yesterday just cuz I had a bad day soooo yeah
renegadewhit aw (((hugs))). You are a great momma! If he is breathing normal downstairs, I wouldn't think a hotel would be necessary, but maybe his pediatrician would have a better idea?
And holy night sweats is right!! I changed Three times last night
I think DS must love me a lot because I put DD down at 6:30 and went back to sleep, expecting/hoping to get another hour in before DS wakes. He just played quietly in his room. DD woke me at 9:30 for another feeding and I can just hear DS babbling away at his toys.

I've been shopping around for what seems like a unicorn. I want a tank top that isn't shape wear but is thick enough to feel like it's holding me in a bit, but I also want it on the longer side (I'm long torsoed). I want to wear it under all my stuff so nursing is easier and just to feel less squishy belly and more supported.
Anyone know where I can find this? Or have ones they've loved?
Contractions every 7-15 minutes yesterday evening but they went away again when I went to bed. I'm hoping baby will be here soon as these are not fun evenings being uncomfortable and on edge waiting to see every day if it will turn into labor yet.
I started reading this article MOTN and just finished now. It is about 4 boys from Bogota who were raised as 2 sets of fraternal twins, but we're actually identical twins switched at birth. It tells their story and also discusses what researchers are currently focusing on- epigenetics and how identical twins differ.
If anyone needs some MOTN/trapped under a baby/waiting to have a baby reading material, I recommend checking it out.
I'm going to attempt my first solo outing with both kids this morning... to Target, of course! Very excited for something yummy and caffeinated from Starbucks, but mainly to get out of the house for a bit.
I wish there was a magical way to just get poop out. This TMI brought to you by me sitting here with feeling of needing to poop but literally can't and I swear I can feel the poop right there.. sorry.

Enema? Btdt. Not proud, but it was 100% necessary.
I'm literally to this point and will do whatever it takes. I will probably get it on the way home
