daisylola11 this is more of a camisole imo than a tank, but I have this in black and use it as soon as it is clean. It doesn't have straps so it clips or loops onto your nursing bra.
+1 to the undercover mama tanks. I have it in 3-4 different colors and wore one just about daily when DD1 was nursing. That's the plan this time; I have at least a couple packed for the hospital. It's so nice to be able to stay covered up but have easy access for nursing and still feel like my tummy is supported! (They also have a "slimming" tank, which I haven't tried. I find the regular tanks plenty supportive enough but the slimming one may be worth trying too!)

I was in a lot of pain last night and I'm not sure why. I didn't do the stairs much more than usual, went on a walk with the dog but I've been doing those. I also felt I needed to pee but it took a lot of concentration to actually go once I was in the bathroom. I ended up sitting on an ice pack and taking Advil. I'd like for my nether regions to be semi normal again ASAP.
All this talk of night sweats has me so not looking forward to the immediate postpartum phase! I went through it last time and remember thinking it was due to hormones from having DD1, but for some reason it didn't click that it was night sweats and a shitty side effect of having a baby (it was July..so I guess my brain just chalked it up to it being summer + hormones). Pregnancy, L&D, and postpartum are all so glamorous!
I woke up seriously riding the struggle bus this morning. DD was up for a good chunk of the night (+ while lying in her bed my brain started the downward spiral of "I'm taking my dedicated attention away from her by having #2, how will I ever balance everything, what I have I done", etc), then she woke up at the same time I did so I didn't have my usual time of getting ready and pulling the house together before she woke up, and my cell phone (which replaced another messed up phone just 1 month ago) started acting up again. Thank god my mom offered to take DD1 for a few hours so my brain can rest a bit b/c I'm done adulting today. I'm actually looking forward to going into labor to get a "break" from adulting in the hospital for a couple days. How messed up is that?

I have had that need-to-concentrate feeling both times. I think it has something to do with the catheter.
I have also wondered if it is just my subconscious causing me to hold back because of potential pain. Since I had a c-section this time I am not so sure though.
sms2524 +however many to some weight loss being normal for brand new babies, especially breastfed ones. I definitely understand the anxiety about it, especially since both of my babies crossed over into the "worry the doctor" territory with 11% weight loss. I hope that everything goes smoothly once your milk comes in, but if not, come see us in the feeding thread and we will help you out.
Thanks to all for the reassurance. We had just peeked into the 10% loss when I started freaking out. Just couldn't shake the feeling that I was starving my baby. But thankfully my milk has come in and baby is doing great (gained an ounce from yest to today) so it seems like we are past that hurdle.

I need my tailbone to quit hurting. And I need the pain to just been a sore tailbone and not a developing cyst. This post party's experience is going too well go be ruined by a pilonidal cyst like the last time.
Anyone have any tips on how to sit without putting pressure on the tailbone? I'm trying all of the pillows and the internets are telling me sitting sideways or crooked is actually not helpful like I assumed.

I would guess sitting as upright as possible - super easy when feeding a baby!

I hope it's not a cyst. Would ice or heat help?
Hot baths help a little. I think the furniture in my house is my issue. Hard to sit upright in a recliner and the cushions on our couch slide out when you sit on them.
I am so sick of going back and forth (like, in seconds) between feeling ok with being pregnant a while longer and "OMG GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME". I just want to know if I was going to go into labor between now and 41w or if I'll have to go in for an induction again.

kaits8jnow I googled things that can induce labor naturally, considered doing some of them, then got panicked when I imagined them actually working hahaha!
I think I'm not going to encourage labor yet... I'll wait until my EDD to mess around with anything.

Hahaha the couple of times I thought contractions might actually turn into something I totally had a panic attack and was like "no I'm ok if it doesn't happen yet!".

erinshelley21 I have one of those special old people cushions with the tailbone cutout. You can probably achieve something similar by sitting on a pillow with like 4 inches of your backside hanging off the back edge. It's helpful for me on our dining room chairs and the firm couch.
Appointment update. Same as last week --at a 1 -2. Sweep of my membranes and I am having slight cramps. I was having more last week when it was just an regular internal. Back next Friday is I don't go into labor sooner. Sigh.
