See I love beer but I can get the satisfaction for beer from an NA. I actually could drink Buckler and be just fine. It tastes like Heineken light to me. Obviously it's not the same as a good craft beer but I've been laying off the calories in beer the last few years.
Maybe we really are soul mates. I don't drink beer super often, but when I do Heinekin or Heinekin light is what I drink.
Ew... the lowest we go is Sam's and Guinness. Keep your Heineken and Bud/Coors as faraway as possible.
When we got married the venue had Bud and Coors as available beer. We paid to upgrade to Founder's breakfast stout and to Boston Lager because the other two we won't touch with a forty foot pole
I only like sweet wine occasionally, but when I get Chinese food/sushi from this one place near my house I always crave Riesling for some reason and I think that's what they serve onesweetworld I've never tried the other one! Sweet wine on a hot summer day is sometimes yummy!
German Riesling or dry Riesling. Sweet Riesling should not exist
I mostly drink wine from the Canadian Niagara region and from Italy. Sometimes New Zealand. Sometimes France. 75% though is from Niagara.
I can't recall an American wine I liked but I feel like I have had some California wine at a restaurant...
The American niagra trail has some pretty good wineries. We honeymooned there and in the finger lakes. We came back with a lot of Riesling since most places made them to be close to Germany's style and not the American style that they call Riesling
I'm probably going to be pretty quiet until second betas and all. But thank you.
So. Here's a question. When should I call my OBGYN? I have repeats Tuesday then they are setting up my first ultra sound with the RE.
Up to you. Most OBs open up pretty quickly for pregnants lol. If I want an annual that's a 6 month long list lol. Pregnant? Okay here's a next day appt.
For both times, I called around 4 weeks and had my first app at 8 weeks. Other places won't see you until 10-12 weeks.
Not yet. I have an appointment next Thursday though, even though she joked that she is pretty sure she'll see me before then.
My midwife suggested primrose oil but idk if I'm ready to start that yet.
I took mine orally last time starting at 37w. It probably helped. It didn't jump start labor, but I dilated to 2cm and was 60% effaced by 39 weeks and had no idea. Still went past my EDD..
Also, to be your favorite buzzkill, most FTMs will go past due. I think the average is 41w+ a couple days when not induced. Only about 50% of babies will come by their EDD

I think we are beer twins sometimes. If I get offered crap beer I turn it down. It needs to be full of flavor and not anywhere near light. We pretty much drink craft beer exclusively unless we are out then it's whatever is heaviest on the menu.

I mostly agree...occasionally I've enjoyed sweet for dessert. My friend puts it over sorbet for dessert in the summer sometimes and I'll admit to enjoying it

Except I go dark and steer clear of IPAs 😝
I am not a huge fan of IPAs. I tend to order more unfiltered hefeweizens than anything. I can drink stouts but they can be too heavy for me most of the time. There is a peanut butter stout that I would love right now.

Beer snob. 😜
Just kidding...I only started drinking Heineken because it's gluten free and I was GF for about 3 years. Now it's just a habit.

We're totally a beer snob house. My current stash is a 12 pack of Leinenkugal's winter dunkel (I was more upset than I should be about them not doing their winter porter as they usually do...) and a 12 pack of magic hat's winter stout.
Our baby brew is a vanilla porter. I'm having H stop on our way home from the birth center for a growler or two of one of preferred local breweries Irish Stout and Uncommon Porter (if they'll growler both... I don't think they will for the stout)

Canadas Niagara Rieslings are great too. Depending on what I am eating I will go for that. My fav from the region is usually Sauvignon Blanc but there are some great Pinot Grigios too.
I desperately want to go to Italy (Tuscany/Fruili) for Pinot Grigio. My Italian student who stayed with me is from a region that produces amazing Moscato that is not as sweet as the Moscato we have in North America.
I have only been to Northern NY three times and Seattle once.
But we won't be going back (except to possibly visit certain Northern New Yorkers) any time soon. The dollar is just too low and other reasons...
You should come to Ontario though because your money is worth so much
I never had a reason to go before. Now, with trying to get a clearance, it's too much of a hassle. My H also has a clearance for his job and international travel is a big ordeal
