We were up late watching March Madness. Both my and DH's teams won and will be facing off in the Elite Eight. 🐊🐊🐊 Bradley was wired last night and couldn't fall asleep, so he ended up in our bed to watch a bit of the game before passing out. He loves the Gators and is currently crying bc DH was teasing him saying Caroline will be a Gamecock fan. It might be a long day...
We're going out for lunch today and hoping B will car-nap.

@peachsmama we have little ice packs in fun characters(winnie the pooh and Dory) for Cadence. It's the only way we have ever been able to get her to use ice packs. You might see if you can find some. We got ours at Target and the dollar store. Also popsicles!

I'm still in bed, but I swear I'm getting up! We have gymnastics this morning and then I'll probably take Cadence to the park. Then this evening a friend and I are doing a painting class thing. Should be interesting.
guster Yes, I'm very grateful that she'll sit and watch a movie! I remember watching the same movies over & over again as a kid.
Same. We had to replace the Sleeping Beauty VHS tape bc I watched it so much that it got really grainy. And I only wanted to rent the same handful of movies from the 'bideo store'. My poor parents...
guster careful, Moana has a mountain monster thing that could be considered very scary!
B isn't usually scared by stuff but the lava monster really freaked him out when we saw Moana in the theater. Maybe it would be better on the smaller screen, idk.

@peachsmama I don't remember... did you take him to the er last night? I would def take him to the pediatrician. When Landon got bit by the dog in October they also didn't stick because even though it was deep the holes were too small, but we had oral antiabiotics and I think two different antibiotic creams we had to apply for like ten days. Poor kiddo. I'm really feeling for you, It such a scary situation.

Morning! I'm laying in bed and dh is downstairs making omlettes and bacon. We have a busy but fun today. Today is "cal ripkin" day at our spring training stadium, so all the city baseball and teeball teams do a little parade around the field before the game starts. Dh is filling in as coach for Lucas's team so ry and I will go with Landon. Then we are going to tailgate and go to the game. We have an invite for a "rib cookoff" party from friends if a friend after that, but we will have to see how wiped we are if we go or not.
Morning! I'm putting down for a nap and n is downstairs with a friend from daycare. This is her first real playdate with someone who isn't a friend of ours. But these girls have been together since they were babies and are so cute together! They even share a birthday and look a like. So cute!
Morning! DH didn't let me sleep in so I'm a bit crabby. He brought home donuts after his haircut so he's not completely in the dog house. We have a birthday party later this afternoon, but aside from that not much happening. I want to get painting a little more too.
We went to urgent care this morning, V has a nasty sinus infection. Are sinus infections contagious? He's never had one before. No runny nose or fever.
N's friend just left. They had so much fun together. I don't know the mom that well but we had a lot to talk about to it wasn't awkward.
H woke up with a massive blowout and low fever. The ILs were supposed to babysit tonight but we called them off. He isn't eating much or drinking from his sippy but will nurse, so I think it's best I stay home with him
Hi all. Busy morning and I have a short time before the boys wake up from naps and people start showing up for Chase's party. It's a decently warm day but super overcast, plus we've already had a bunch of last minute cancellations, all with kids. So we may be fine to keep everyone inside.
Colin had his last swimming class for about a month. No one else showed up so he got lots of attention. He was so exhausted though, with no one to help play the games. And Chase is doing fine on day 1 of a big kid breakfast. I think Colin weaned himself about 5 days after his birthday - he lost interest once the flow slowed down. We'll see how things go with Chase... I'm not expecting it to go as smoothly!

Hi! Slow Saturday in my household. I was exhausted from my work week so I slept in. For some reason, im still not in the best mood. I need to get out by myself in a bit before the rain comes later this evening. My brain is a jumble and I can't seem to focus on putting a list together. I need to snap out of this funk... Hope everyone has a good weekend.

@peachsmama why not take him now? Why risk 24 hours...Since you said you had to beg for them not to send you now. To me that sounds like he needs to go now.
We just got back from pizza with my parents; it's a great restaurants that has some outdoor seating with live music, swings, and lawn games. B was in heaven.
Speaking of the threenager, he was exhausted so DH put him right to bed, and I don't think C is too far behind. She had a long day being adorable and practicing her squeals.
The party was a success if you ignore the 82 times Chase flipped out. He went down super late tonight and keeps waking up to scream for a minute or 2. It's going to be a long night.
I got another room painted tonight. Every room will have to have a 2nd coat, which will require us to buy more paint. I feel like this paint isn't going as far as it should so I'm blaming the roller covers DH bought. I think we are picking up the paint tomorrow after pictures so I'll grab some new covers too.
I just found and read tallblonde's thread about her mom and it brought back so many memories and emotions. I can't stop thinking about her and her family.
vinolove, JoeLies & @ snoopmommymom how did your lo's do last night?
Chase did decently. He had quite a few crying fits in the first few hours then settled down. The monitor popped on a billion times because of his cough, though. Poor kiddo definitely got a new cold for his birthday.
nam2013, fever is back. But not to the point that ER is warranted. But the swelling is the same. If it's not alot better after the next dose of antibiotics we're going in.
Eek. At what point did they say to bring him in when you begged them to hold off? I'd just worry it would get more out of control and an ER visit would then be even more traumatic.
@peachsmama - for what it's worth, the little boy I knew who had this happen last month ended up in the hospital. He was on iv antibiotics and being monitored. His mom said they had so many new/fun toys that he wasn't upset about it at all. In fact, when he came home, he kept asking to go back to the place with all the toys!
