Probably skipping an Easter basket for baby since they'll only be a few days old. We didn't do anything for DS last year but will this year since he's almost 2 and is actually fun at holidays now rather than just confused. He won't notice if he has something and little sibling doesn't haha.
I am apparently insane, as I am a FTM and have a monogrammed basket and a lot of stuff for it....😂
I got the basket, and the gingham insert with her name from pottery barn kids. My favorite item so far for in the basket has been wrist rattles and rattle footies, although admittedly, I gave them to her already and bought extras for my nephew was born 2 weeks after her.
For the basket we have:
-a bunny that is gray and matches her nursery decor
-the birth stats thing off Etsy in pink and gray
-the nipples she likes (she shunned all of the bottles/nipples we bought)
-baby's first Easter ornament
-books (some bunny loves me, Jesus is my friend)
-a baby's first Easter frame (that I plan to put a picture of her, H and I in)
I tried to get that liner last year for DD. Two weeks after I ordered they send me an email saying it was sold out and canceled my order. If course, they had already shipped the basket. Guess I should try and snag one this year.
@justinslovo what about a stuffed animal? Bulky and can be inexpensive.
We aren't doing a basket, but since you all got me thinking we went to a resale shop and found a cute Easter onesie for 1.50. It's pretty simple, but it will be cute to have for the holiday!
