Funny story too, when I was pregnant with DS I stopped at our DQ several times a week and got a small vanilla soft serve with chocolate sprinkles. Every.time.
One day the lady (the same one that was there every day) gave me a chocolate soft serve with chocolate sprinkles. I pretty much started to cry and told her it was wrong. Then she argued with me!!! I was like, omg woman. Don't mess with the pregnant lady and her ice cream.
I put a Thomas the train toddler bed set on our registry for DS1... someone actually bought it today 🙈
DS1 is going to be so happy. He LOVES Thomas. I have a feeling it was my MIL.
I only put it on the registry off a whim to get it later for the credit. I had DS1 in TRU a few weeks ago where they had it on a bed. He rubbernecked right at it and kept cheerfully going "night night! Night night!" 😂
About 6 months PP... tip: schedule a massage for about a month PP to help get the muscles to release.
Anecdote: I got a lot more comfortable around 2 weeks PP when I was able to stand up straight again. You don't realize just how hunched you are compensating for the growing belly. It's also around the time I was able to sleep on my back and belly again and able to have my back popped. It took about 3 weeks before I could go a day without Advil though. I went for a massage around 6 months PP and it worked out the rest of the kinks. This time, I'm going at 3-4w PP
It seems like people who have a lot of pregnancy-related pain often feel much better right away, depending on how delivery goes of course. I had a pretty easy pregnancy last time (effortless multi-mile dog walks until the end) and was shocked by how disabled I was for the first week (could barely limp to the kitchen). It was probably around 2 months in that I felt better than I felt in late pregnancy.
